getting guys under contract for next year, right? We are trying to sell guys like Drummond on the fact they might have a better opportunity to earn a roster spot here, than elsewhere.
Makes sense since we only have 3 WRs plus BFW (on IR) under contract next year.
was pretty damning that the Giants signed two OLBs in recent weeks rather than promote Ximines or Fox. I suspect Fox isn't long for the Giants either.

I don't know anything about Drummond. He's obviously a long-shot, but as you note, now is the time for the Giants to add to their PS or roster (see Whitley). Shepard, Campbell, Gunner, and maybe Hodgins will also all be gone next year.
kind of roster moves in the final five weeks will be fascinating.
I had on NFL Radio this afternoon. One of the hosts was noting that teams will make moves like this to get young prospects onto the roster and potentially get control of them for years, cheap.
Raiders took Maxx Crosby a few picks after Oshane.
Yes . . . Nick Bosa first edge rusher picked that year, Crosby way down the list in round 4, but he is easily the 2nd best talent at this point. Could even argue he's more of a disrupter than Bosa - maybe . . . Getting his shit together (sober) really helped him.
