RIP Carl. I liked him as Michael Strahan’s dad playing the old coach on the (one season and done, I think) on that TV show.

He is an all-timer.

Loved him in Predator too as some posters mentioned.

The handshake with Arnold "DILLON!.... What's the matter CIA has you pushing too many pencils?"...... I still do this and recite this line with some of my friends.

Someone needs to post the GIF.
Wow, I'm getting old
ZogZerg : 2/2/2024 3:15 pm : link

years ago I went on a few dates with a woman. She broke it off because she was also dating someone else and she chose the other guy. Later I found out the other guy was Carl Weathers. She married him. It didn't last but the wedding was a thing online.

Worked out great for me. A couple of days later I met my wife.

He had a long history of great performances. I'm sad to hear that he passed. Still doing very good work in The Mandalorian.
Oh man

Apollo Creed. You know they say the football world 'mourns
his loss'...To be honest, most people don't really remember him as a football player. He only played 2 years I believe.
I know I don't, and I'm no spring chicken, just saying. In the Rocky movies, at least he looked similar to a heavyweight fighter in size. Some of these boxing movies, the guys don't look close to a heavyweight, ie., Michael B. Jordan in 'Creed'.
