I've been studying these guys. If you had to pick one, which one would you rather have on the Giants?
I know Sy likes Latu for the Giants, and he does seem to have more bend that the other two, and he has speed and power,
but Verse and Turner have more classic explosive toughness, doggedness and grit in my opinion. I like their body styles too. I was leaning Turner but Verse is turning my head a little.

I would assume that the Giants would want to do even more homework as far as anlyzing the injury on him than any other consideration they have this year. Whats weird is no article Ive read has said what the doagnosis was. I am very leery if the Giants cant get that info from the doctors. Particularly the ones that dealt with him in UW.
That said, college is not the pros. If he checked out, sure, he would vault to the top of my list. But if there was enough doubt in his assessment, I go get Jared Verse. No question. The giy looks like an animap when he plays against the pass and the run.
Either guy would be a perfect compliment to KT.

Based on a few things I read here:
Latu's medicals keep coming up because it is the neck and he plays in the trenches. His techniques and moves are on a completely different level than the others.
Verse has the best pure blend of power and speed - but his worst tape is the worst of the bunch. There isn't much variety to his game at the moment
Turner is the most explosive. Also the best hustler and plays with the most attitude. But he is one dimensional and the fear with him (as with a lot of Alabama guys) is that they are further along with development and won't get much better than where they currently are.
This. Like Ceez I am a Noles fan, but the guy reminds me of Tuck, can set the edge. Can get after the QB. I like big body DEs.

As well as he can rush the passer.

The Tuck comparisons, ithis is the first time Ive heard them. Tuck played a lot bigger IMO and could kick inside on pass rush downs. He reminded me more of Shaun Ellis as a pro. Verse reminds me of Trent Cole or Kyle Vanden Bosch or Michael Bennett. Def closer to Tuck in size for sure. But again, Im def no expert on Verse. I dont know how often he got kicked inside.

No doubt Tuck was bigger, playing at 280/285. But Verse is strong at the point of attack and can hold the edge, like Tuck could.
Could Verse play inside in a rush package? I haven't a clue.

Wow - any one of those guys playing on the opposite sided of KT would make 2 very good book ends on the DL.
