Dane Brugler top 100
JJ is 4th QB 24th overall. Will not make it out of the first round.
Hard to quess where the QB's get drafted until free agency starts and we see where Kirk Cousins and Justin Fields wind up. JJ will not get past the falcons if they have not picked up a qb before the draft. If the giants do not want JJ they could get a trade down opportunity with the falcons steelers bucs seahawks.

Interesting in that late 20s range

The pass rushers: Verse, Latu and Chop grouped together with Darius Robinson jumping up to 31 from being a 3rd round mock to the Giants a few weeks ago. Dallas Turner ahead of them in the teens.
1/3rd of Brugler’s top 100

Are at positions of need outside of QB- CB, Edge and OT. That lines up nicely assuming we evaluate the talent properly.
Did a 4 round mock with trade down

Rome Odunze WR
Byron Murphy II DT
Jordam Morgan OT
Troy Franklin WR
Michael Pratt QB

Extra picks in 2025
Ind 2
NO 2
Clev 3
NO 3

Fills some 2024 needs. Loads up WR with youth. Two big lineman. Eying possible 2025 QB as the Giants would have 1.2.2.2.3.3.3 picks in the first two days. Unless DJ or Pratt step forward.

Still need edge TE CB. Late round fliers or FA.
Why is a 6’3” Daniels “frail” at 205 lbs but 6’3” McCarthy is not at

Are you going by sports reference data or team website measurements? Unreliable.

Jayden self-reported he's been playing around 205, but if you look at his listed weight on sports reference, it's 185.

I highly doubt McCarthy will measure that light at the combine. Let's all just wait until then.

Maybe it's because McCarthy is three years younger than Daniels.

I've met Jayden in person quite a few times. He has a very thin frame. He's bulked up a lot since his ASU days, but I'm not sure I can think of an NFL QB that has a similar frame.

None in the top-9. I wonder if that impacts X’s value or likelihood of being tagged.

Mccarthy is 205 too, where did u get the 195 number? Maybe his freshman year? Mccarthy's weight is mentioned in his question marks, but it is assumed based on his body type and age that he will easily gain 20+lbs. Male body doesn't even stop developing until 25. Jayden Daniels has a much different body type and will have to really work hard to maintain his weight around 220-225, as Lamar does. Lamar has to make a serious effort with his routine to maintain that playing weight I believe. I don't see why JD couldn't do the same as they have a very similar body type coming out of college, but for JJ it's much less of a question due to his body type frame and age.
