Who is gonna be their QB in 2024? That team really isn’t that bad. Alpha WR. Not sure what they do with the vet RB I think he’s a FA but their OL isn’t bad either. Some big time talent on defense. No qb. Literally no one. They don’t pick very high in the draft either. Pierce had the raiders playing well. They need a qb and now.
Kirk cousins? Someone else? Some vet QB is young to Vegas but not sure who.
The more I think of it the more I’m convinced this is going to be one wild offseason. You have a few elite or close to elite teams that fell flat in January. Hello dalllas. Hello Philly. You have some other teams that look poised to make a big splash or might need to make a big splash. Hello Washington and NYG. Bears at pick one and with Fields WTF will they do??? I predict a lot of trades which isn’t uncommon these days but I think there will be some shockers that no one sees coming.
Probably not the best thread for this but the raiders embody so much uncertainty with this offseason, in my view. Should be fun.
Could Dak be traded to the raiders? Or to someone? Dallas has to be having some pretty painful and honest conversations right about now. They had a lot going for them this year and heading into January had to feel pretty good about finally making it to the NFC title game. Dak doesn’t shine, the team gets crushed at home by GB. Dak is due for a mint.
I know the contract shit comes into play so it’s hard to predict. Could Dallas trade Dak… if the raiders called and offered the sun, moon and stars, could Dallas bite and try and land a qb in April. I like Dak but he didn’t help cause this past January. Nothing would surprise me.
but when you are guaranteed 11/12 wins every year there’s other things that you can do to make your team better. The odds of the cowboys finding an adequate starter aren’t as high as people make it seem. Retaining McCarthy was the worst decision they made, thankfully.
There are a lot of guys on the Cowboys who love Dak....it would be
quite a seismic shift there if they deal him.....but I see what you are saying. You have seen the best of him for the most part and except for Lamb and Ferguson....his weapons are aging.
Yep. I just wonder what Dallas is up to. Again, they had everything going for them this year and still got crushed in round 1. Add in dak’s pending new deal, it’s a bit of a crossroad time for them.

I’ve always been in dak’s corner and agree that good qbs like Dak should not be easily discarded. I just wonder if this one of those moments where a team decides radical change might be needed.

And where the hell does Jimmy G wind up….

We’ll see.
We’ll see.
And in this scenario they no longer win 12+ games, possibly for a while. They should have gotten a better coach.
We’ll see.
I think this is a very interesting idea, actually.
A strong case can be made that Dak is right at his ceiling, so start the transition.
Interesting thought there!
