Trade Back Mock Draft

I would want a greater return than a 2 2's and a 3

I actually made several trades and moved up in each round,so it looks like less numerically,but its hopefully better in terms of talent.

there were "ONLY" meet and potatoes types after #4, but you moved up Multiple times to grab meet and potatoes type guys. Ok then.
Filling holes with "meat and potatoes" type guys is a sure way to become mediocre. Is that our goal, to be a perennial 500% team?

This isn't true. Not saying I agree or disagree with his picks but for one year draft your point is false.

Seems like someone we can develop, and we would be getting 1 or 2 plug and play types in the draft in this scenario

From 6 to 27 would require a Hershel walker trade type haul. No one is doing that. Also wouldn’t touch BO Nix at all.

the fact that posters spend so much time criticizing Schoen for the last 2 drafts and then they come up with a mock draft like this where we trade down from 6 to 27 and then pick Bo Nix with our first pick. Nix is maybe a second round pick and quite frankly with all our needs we take maybe someone who would be a decent back up at the next level. Insanity. Can't wait for the draft to come.

Made a few trade downs. Prefer playing on fast mode so that limits being able to trade up.

Even though Jayden Daniels was on the board at 6 I decided to trade back to 13 with the Raiders as I got 77 and a 2025 1st Round selection.

With the 13th overall pick I selected J.J. McCarthy.

In Round 2 I stayed put at 39 and added Troy Fautanu to our OL.

With our 2nd 2nd Rounder Jacksonville offered me 96 if I included 140 to trade down 1 spot. Had no issue with that and added Tyler Nubin as I am not giving McKinney a long term contract in my sim.

In Round 3 I added EDGE Brandon Dorlus and then traded down again from 77 to 83 (picking up 154 in the process) and still got WR Devontez Walker. Finished up Round 3 from the Jacksonville deal adding Bucky Irving.

Made no further trades on Day 3 and added DT Braden Fiske, CB Chau Smith-Wide, and LB Tommy Eichenberg.

Nix is not a 2nd round pick. He'll go 1st round between 15 and 25.

I agree on X also...he is a keeper

but they'd have to stay in the top 10. Address more issues in THIS draft.

Take another OT and figure out who plays where on the OL later.

That said, I think they're gonna take one of the Blue Chip WRs at 6.

And I don't want anything to do with Bo Nix. An interesting thought experiment nonetheless it highlights how this isn't a good draft to trade down imo
