What's the point? I don't see us competing with a rookie QB learning the ropes while DJ starts until injured or benched for rookie. I don't think there's any point in signing guys on 1 year deals for us. If we hit on QB our window starts in 2025.

We don’t have a starter next to Banks at the moment. Howard would be a a good option on a 1 year deal. He’s still a solid corner.

I agree I like him a lot and I'd like him more on a 2 year deal with a signing bonus pushed out into 2025. He's already 30 so he's prolly going to want a 3-4 year deal. Maybe 3 year deal with 2 guaranteed and most of the money pushed back into 2025-2026? We need to be planning for building after we part ways with DJ imo, already start planning for having a rookie QB contract through 2029.
Philly is still paying Bradberry and Slay.

Isn’t Gilmore a free agent?
He may drive the market up though

If he is, I didn't know.
He was solid for them. Bland will get a new deal soon, too.

Be a good option an incentive laden 1 year deal.

You guys need to understand that Dallas is cheap and doesn't do free agency.
Dallas is more likely to resign Gilmore to a cheap contract or draft another CB to replace him.
The last big name player Dallas signed in free agency was Brandon Carr, and that was 12 years ago.
He may drive the market up though
You know they play different positions right?
