what the vikings decide to do with jefferson gets pretty interesting now. even if they can pull the trigger on a big trade up, does jefferson want to extend with a rookie qb?
Minnesota has been linked to McCarthy. Best case scenario for Giants is the Vikings trade up with AZ/LAC. That means they have a chance at MHJ, and if not him they get the pick of their next guy between Nabers/Odunze.
MHJ goes to LAC in that scenario and how is that the best case scenario if JJM turns into a franchise qb? 🤔

I know we need a couple of guards desperately but I hope Schoen carefully considers whether he wants to sign a guard in this initial FA period. There could be much better values later on.
We just need to sign one and then draft one in the second
Yeah sign Onwenu then draft Morgan or Kingsley or Barton or Beebe, or trade up for Fautanu if he makes it to the end of rd1. You want more bargain bin OL? I sure as hell don't.

Christian Haynes add to the list also. Tons of good OL in that 2nd round range.
This is what I predicted. Good move for Falcons, he is a solid qb and will do well there.
Oh boy that'll be exciting to face him twice a year, a bit emotional sure but fun sports drama nonetheless.

Absolutely, I'd prefer a guy with versatility to play guard or tackle. Jordan Morgan would be great. Would've been a first rounder last year if he didn't tear his acl.
Oh Schoen, I try to have faith in you and you continue to disappoint. Why would you spend 10m/ on another meh guard when u could spend 20 or so on a guy like Onwenu. Sunken feeling here. Deflated

yeah that is quite a value deal in this market. he has had a bunch of injury issues but still.
This feels like a NE type of RB
They paid a lot of money for Barkley. hardly robbery.
You can't have it both ways... if he wasn't worth what they paid him, then you should be happy the Eagles are paying that amount which will affect their cap.

McKinney also
If we paid Barkley that kind of money there would be a riot on this board

says who? That isn't a thing... Not saying it won't happen, but it nothing to eagles has happened.

I meant players not salary.
Washington signed three Dallas players today and Philadelphia two NY players.

I saw it reported. 16 million a year I believe.
Why, he’s always hurt and isn’t young either.

Would not surprise me. I said it in the Huff thread. I said Huff, Barkley, and McKinney to Philly today. And, because the eagles are one of the nfl marquee teams, I would not be shocked if all 3 are 2024 pro bowlers.

Being reported on X.
When you decide that a player is your "face of the franchise" as they did for Barkley, you open yourself up to this stupidity.
Being reported on X.
Where? Post it... you can't because it happened. Doesn't mean it won't, but it hasn't happened yet. SO stop it.
holy hell. Thats insane, there are LT's in the league that dont even make half of that.
Heard fake news
The Giants need to be prepared to hit OL hard in the draft given how strong the class is.

Patriots informed WR DeVante Parker that they are releasing him Wednesday and he now has been given permission to talk to other teams, per his agent Jimmy Gould.

100% agree
Hope so. They’re one of a few other teams interested in Owenu. Washington was another but they’ve obviously gone in a different direction.
