Is the deal in place and just getting to contract terms? Or they haven't agreed on the trade yet

is 4 for 48... or DS for 3 for 16.5
Absolute insanity for a RB. We can draft a running back to go with Singletary, Gray, Brightwell and Corbin. RB by committee.
It's funny how people keep sayingnthat but outside of 26 this team hasn't drafted a RB that's even worth getting regular carries in well over 10 years.

Cool. What does that matter? Barkley is 27, which is when RBs tend to decline. Last year looked like he might be a year early to the decline phase, not a year late.
The Giants were going to have to figure out a replacement for Barkley this offseason whether they kept him on the roster this year or not.

Hughes tweeting there is mutual interest
Apparently the Giants interest was sparked by Burns reaching out to people with the Giants

You guys keep saying that and yet two playoff teams just spent money on premier running backs. Maybe the pros have re-considered that sage wisdom about running backs. They are less expensive and more versatile than wideouts.
It can make sense when you are close... when you aren't it is a waste of money until you have other things in place. We need another OG, DL, Edge, CB, WR, QB, TE, FS... big difference for us. I love Barkley and I wanted him here... same with McKinney, but we can't afford them and fix this team.

Not even close. His people know they likely won’t get 30 per and would potentially settle on 4 years 100 with 75-80 guaranteed to get traded to somewhere he wants to play.

I think the smarter move for Schoen is pay a little more to reduce the comp. Pay $30-$32 to keep the Giants own second rounder
Yup. Just contract stuff to work out

guess it is happening damn man

Carolina beat reporters saying exactly that.
Go root for another team then.
I think we are taking the 30+ million it costs Barkley and McKinney to get Burns and DS.

Sorry man if this sounded dickish... just reread it and didn't want to sound that way. Meant it as a joke because we can all get dup'd.
It's ok. I have a thick skin. Been called worse.

Like a Cowboys fan???? Hahahaha
2 years. 11M. Fuck. I'd rather that than Singletary but not complaining. I like DS

Washington Commanders for a cheap price apparently.

Pretty much same price as DS... Love Eckler, but can he stay healthy.

8m and pretty much assures a QB pick at 3 i think. if they were going to start a vet they'd have picked someone else i think.

Sources: The #Seahawks are closing in on a deal with Leonard Williams.
One of the top interior defensive linemen in the free agent class off the market.
Ian Rapoport
@RapSheet

He gets a 3-year averaging $21.5M per year.
Was hoping for Wilson. And then Minshew.
Unfortunately, neither. Looks like they are going QB at #3 - damn.
Darnold signed with Denver I believe
We may bring back Tyrod
Wow... wait until teams sign RBs before releasing him. I would be pissed if I was Joe Mixon.
to a a three-year, $16 million deal. (Tom Pelissero)
Add him to Tyler Biadasz and the Commanders are starting to build a decent wall around the new QB they draft in April.
With the Bengals
With Houston

A one-year deal worth $10 million. (Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero)
