Chris Manhertz really gets after it as a blocker

I love the tenacity here. He gets after it.

I’m glad we signed him

So now Bellinger can go about catching balls while our two new TE blocking machines can block and keep our QB alive.
To me these move are to help Neal on the outside

And also seems like Waller is going to retire with Bellinger back at the Rec TE and then 2 blockers and possibly a backup for Bellinger. Changing the O to reflect the talent we have.
Damn ….

Good stuff ….. he’s actually athletic
We may be better without Waller.

He’s obviously a talent but I think the offense played better w Bellingham in there.
I've mentioned this before regarding Penix...
Go Terps : 3/16/2024 3:34 am : link
The way Penix throws the ball I think he is tailor made for 12 personnel packages. He throws the ball decisively and powerfully outside the numbers where it's harder to double someone without giving up something else on an easier throw. You don't need to have four or five receivers out in a route for him.

With these blocking TEs that have been brought in, 12 personnel with play action would be fun to watch.

Hopefully, the game plan is to move Neal inside where he can have success. He's not quick enough for OT,his feet are slow,as is his reaction time to speed rushers!
Finishes blocks

and comes off double teams quickly to take on LBs and DBs.
