I know we are all clamoring to replace DJ,are perhaps even woke up envious of the Pittsburg Steelers for their pilfering of Fields from the Bears.....
To me unless Maye falls to us at #6,I would prefer to trade back and accumulate picks...here is what I wound up with.
26-Bo Nix QB
47-JT Sweat DT-our front four will be sickkkkkk
55-JT Sanders TE-who knows how long Waller is a Giant..
70-Jon Brooks RB-good place to go RB
110 Johnny Wilson WR-I know I know we need WR,but its the way things fell
125-Mason McCormick OG
Don't f around.
second, Nix will not last that long. I like Nix and think he will go in the teens at the latest. I'd be happy if the G-men felt they need to grab him at 6.
This proposal gets a very strong no imo.
If we trade down to #11, then ok… we still have a shot at Brock bowers, Troy Fautano, JC Latham, Jared Verse, Terrian Arnold, or Q Mitchell. Bona fide starters at their position, and then with extra picks come up for Nix/pennix early/late first.

When I ran the mock I actually originally traded to 12...
Bowers was gone, who I would have taken btw
But you really don't get that much in trade value unless you trade back into the later part the 1st...which is what I did
Notice how many holes I.was able to fill
And not getting a WR, or CB or safety earlier over a RB and TE is not what I would be too hppy with. I like trenches with 2nd rd pick ifthe guy fits. It just doesn't seem like you go enough on the trades. Maybe I'm wrong.
