NFT: Comcast email issue - receiving emails from a website

BillKo : 3/25/2024 4:38 pm
I am developing an online registration form for my website.

To test it I have been using my Comcast email and succesfully receive the confirmation email. I've probably registered about 10-15 times since the weekend, tweaking the code here and there to make it more user friendly, etc. etc. - cosmetic stuff.

Starting today as I did some more testing, I am no longer receiving the email at my Comcast mail for some reason.

If I substitute another email address - it does work. To me, that says the issue is on the receiving side, not the sending side - although I just did a single test this way.

Do any email experts know why suddenly my Comcast account would not be able to receive these emails from my website server?

Of course calling Comcast is useless and time consuming.

The othe possibility - my host server is not sending out the emails to the Comcast account for some reason.

Thanks in advance for any help!!!!

Are they now going to spam?

For one of my clients. We’ve had tons of deliverability issues to all the Oath ISPs. Know it’s a small send, but could have gotten flagged. I’m not on the technical side so not sure the details and what not, but worth looking into if you can. Not sure what you’re using to send out the emails but check that out. And look into the Comcast postmaster tools linked below.

Not going to spam.

I also CC the website's email as an audit trail and of course that gets the email.

Interestingly, if I try to forward that CC'd email to my Comast, that does not go thru either.
