Just got off the plane from Orlando.
Home 🗽
#NYGiants contingent in full force at LSU Pro Day as expected. I’m told dinner with WR Malik Nabers last night and will meet with QB Jayden Daniels later today, per sources.
In some fantasy world DC falls in love in love with JJM and the Giants move up to 3 and get Daniels.

That would be amazing.
Maybe DC/NE both love JJM and/or Maye. We trade up to Arizona's spot for Daniels.
LSU QB Jayden Daniels and WR Malik Nabers did in fact get weighed and measured for scouts at Pro Day this morning in Baton Rouge. Daniels came in at 6'3" (and change) and 210 pounds. Nabers came in a 6'0" and 199 pounds.
Both declined to be weighed or measured at the combine.
Exactly 6 foot. I thought he was going to be a bit shorter. Good sizes for him. Not sure how I feel about Daniels at 210 though.
It's not too bad. He'll probably put on another 10-15 lbs over the next year.
I'm not worried about the 210 if that's his actual weight. I'm worried that it's BS weight he put on for his Pro Day that he will lose once it's over.
Also I haven't seen it mentioned. Albert Breer didn't say he was in attendance yet, but Daboll canceled his flight home from Orlando today. I'm assuming he will be at the LSU Pro Day with Schoen.
Haven't seen anything about Thomas at all. If I do I'll be sure to post it.
BTJR can always fall back on his forty at the Combine where he blazed a 4.34 at 210 pounds.
I'm on an island by myself, but I think he's the best WR prospect in this draft. He's just starting to creep into his potential.
He is overshadowed a bit playing next to Nabers. The situation reminds me of Jefferson who came out, who was overshadowed by Chase. Like the previous duo, I think both will be excellent NFL players.

I like Thomas and would love to see him in round 2 (assuming we go QB in round 1), but I don't think he will last that long. You?
Zero chance he makes it to round 2. He is WR4 and super talented. I love him, but not as much as bw hahaha. Any other draft and he is a sure fire top 10... This draft is so amazing.
I think if he weighs in at 220 and runs a sub 4.5, the talk for the next month is Williams or Daniels.
My bet is the SEC produces a parallel TV event to compete with the combine soon.

I read that he's planning to throw and not run. Nabers is said to be planning to run.
A friend of mine is in Baton Rouge right now. He said Daniels is only throwing. No other drills.

One way to take that is DC has made up their mind one way or another.
If number two was still in contention, running could push him over the edge.

But more importantly, if there are 2 no doubt blue chip WRs, this increases the Giants chances of moving to number 4.
Arizona could walk away with Nabers at 6, and get 70 + 2025 round one.
Not sure on Nabers height yet, but he weighed in at 199.
Surprised Daniels didn't put on a few vanity pounds, especially since he didn't run.

Good stuff - thanks. I really wish JD would run just to validate what I think he is capable of running. Which is 4.4+.
I continue to shake my head that JD's name isn't more discussed at the #1 overall pick. You just can't teach that type of athleticism and explosion.

I think he's going to have a similar impact coming out of the gate.
It's not too bad. He'll probably put on another 10-15 lbs over the next year.
Knowing his athletic ability is a differentiator, my guess is he knows where he's going.

The Giants are in prime position to move up to number 4 and AZ is assured to get MHJr or Nabers.

adjusted to combine that equals 4.45 correct?

I'm not sure if Pro Day times are considered off anymore. I believe people used to had 0.06 to a Pro Day 40. So a 4.41

Close to no chance imo.
