7:30 AM -- Ice Cube is now speaking out on the offer ... saying it was a no-brainer to pitch Clark to his organization.
"Caitlin is a generational athlete who can achieve tremendous success in the BIG3," he said minutes ago on X ... while also pointing out the league has a track record of breaking barriers with female coaches like Nancy Lieberman and Lisa Leslie.

Couldn't go if I wanted to due to family event, but out of curiosity, I just looked (2:30 p.m., 3/27) and seats in the corners and behind the hoops are going for $190-210; usually mid to upper rows, but it's an arena, not a stadium. But i believe I also flashed past something lower around center court that was like $1,750 or so!
She is a great womens player. That doesn't translate to playing with men. She would be dominated by quicker, stronger men. There's a reason they separate genders for sport, well at least they did once upon a time.

She has the skill set to do so on offense for sure. (Reggie Miller/Rip Hamilton role, running around screens and jacking 3s.) On defense, I'm not sure what would happen.

So they have their own women's league? And, yes, I'm well aware that men are better than her physically in every category of basketball, but I do think she could run around and get off 3's. But on defense she would get annihilated. That's why I was asking.

You're totally right. I think this applies 1 on 1 and with classic rules. But I think they can get crafty in Big 3 because her skillset is so unique. Some of her shots are just outrageous and she's a spacing nightmare. I'd actually watch the Big 3 to see that.
I agree. Defensively sure, she couldn't compete, but offensively, with so much open space, she could do some exciting things.
It's not a real argument it's more of a well known fact.
A top boys HS team would smoke the WNBA champions. Not knocking the WNBA or female athletes but it's a biological issue with quickness and strength.

Lmao how people think she can run around screens and get open his hysterical to me. You ever Steph run around screens? He has a hard time and it takes his max effort. If she’s left open yea she can hit a 3. But she will never get open and to think so is a joke. She has no shot vs men and it’s not even a debate.
