just like I had with Nabers. The problem for Rome is "what have you done for me lately." Rome was the big winner at the combine. It was all about how he wants to compete while the others didn't. It flipped a lot of people to him. Now you have Nabers killing his pro day and hearing all these people change their opinions of him. Rome was on cloud 9 at the combine but he's not fresh in people's heads.
If Nabers and Harrison are gone, I'd rather trade down to the middle
He showed out at the combine and was even practicing his 3 cone drill after the combine. Daniel Jeremiah compared him to Larry Fitzgerald and I definitely see the comparison.
i think he is just the total package. ill be happy with any of the 4 qbs/3 wrs but i love the idea of a tough explosive WR who plays above the rim and just doesnt drop the ball ever. he isnt as acrobatic but i get the larry fitz comps, and larry fitz was one of my favorite players ever.

Me too. I want a QB, and I would agree with those who peg Rome as WR#3, but I love his game and his attitude. He reminds me of a young James Lofton.

Its harder to stand out at the Combine than your pro day. Pro day is pre-orchestrated to make you look good. Combine has more eyes and less control. He had no need to work out again after doing everything at the Combine.

he is following the instructions of his agent, maybe that means he is coachable. A positive.
Clearly, I don't have enough info.
He did every drill at the combine where everything is more official (acurate 40 times and 3 cone drill times) and harder as you are competing against other athletes. I don’t know how the hell you say it’s a negative that he won’t do the same drills again. He showed out already. No need to do it a second time.
I keep asking on this board, and I never get an answer: if you think he’s so good, why are you trading DOWN for him?
Agree..
That impressed the hell out of me.
+1...Saw him play HS ball here in Las Vegas at Bishop Gorham. He is the real deal. Hope we get him.

This is exactly how I feel.
