I think most of us understand fake stories intended to deceive the community for a laugh are prohibited. Call me crazy, but I don't think what Brett posted falls under that.
It was because a couple of our mods fetishize Daniel Jones and get their panties in a bunch when someone mocks him. Other Giants players you can mock all you want. You just can’t with Daniel Jones.

If the April Fools punchline wasn't why he was banned, then I feel even more sad for this community.
Brett's an asset to BBI. His humor is always good natured and he's a logical and respectful contributor. He's definitely not among the bad actors that come in and out of this place.

I don’t know, Brett’s been around for quite some time and while he wasn’t popular, is a little short, smells funny and walks extremely slow, his posts are always well thought out and well received.

Basically this. He had “Daniel Jones is a good Quarterback” as the thread title and “April Fools” in the body once you opened the thread.
That was the "crime". Quite an unusual way to handle one of your customers.
Here's an idea. Send an email to Brett and say we are taking your thread down because we want to avoid April Fools jokes today. Thanks.
