During the draft by proposing their own solution. The Cards self reported contact between GM Monte Ossenfort and Eagles’ DC Jonathon Gannon before the allowed interview period. Gannon would, of course, go on to become the new Cards HC.
The settlement was swapping 3rd round picks — Eagles getting Cards 66 and Cards getting Eagles 94 as well as a fifth in 2024.
