If Commanders go with Maye and NE wants to trade down

If they feel he is the guy, I would 100% trade up for him, if New England was willing to trade.
None of us know how they feel about any QB prospect, but it is fun to play GM.

Washington is going Daniels. I think Maye could fall to us just a gut that N.E. takes JJ.

Is that the Patriots love Daniels and are iffy on Maye. If Daniels is there at 3, they will take him. If Maye is there at 3 they may trade down.

Again this is what I’ve heard and it’s not based on facts.

So they are not in love with JJM either?

They'd take Daniels in this scenario. Doubtful that even happens at this point since all the winds are blowing in Washington's direction when it comes to Daniels and the #2 overall pick.

Pick #3 is where the draft will start for real this year. Let's see if the Patsies trade out in such a scenario or stay put and make due.

I would take him at 6 but not trade up. But I doubt it will matter. NE likely to take him if DC doesn't.

You guys do realize that if the Patriots do opt to trade down and right now that looks like a long, long shot its not going they are going to do so with the expectation of getting a monster haul of picks and that they will most likely want to start the bidding at two future 1st round picks. Lets put it this way, if they are going to pass on a QB they aren't going to be to worried about not getting a top WR. Bottom line if t happens it happens and let's celebrate but it just seems to make more sense for the Giants to be focused on what they do at #6.

For Maye. And only at #5. It'd cost too much to move up to #3 or 4, and we have too many holes to fill.

as the Commanders pick for what's it worth. Dane Brugler also projects Maye as the #2 pick over Daniels as his #3 QB. Should be interesting as we get closer to draft night.
