Schmeelk tried to trade up from #6 to #4 to take Maye, but Pauline felt the Cards would want the two extra #1s in this draft rather than a future #1 from the Giants because the first round this year is so deep.
So the the QBs went 1, 2, 3, 4.
Chargers tried to trade down, no takers, and took Alt.
Giants ran to the podium to select Harrison.

It may be what he wants, but it is also increasingly looking like reality unless one of the teams only wants to trade down to #6.
Just my opinion.

The Strawman on this site is greater than politics. I want a QB in this draft. I would be VERY happy with MHjr. I expect the cost might be too high to move up into the top 4. I would move up for Penix if we land Harrison. He is up there for me. Elite arm talent, worth the risk.
Am I in a cult?

I believed Daniel Jones could win a Super bowl with an offense that exploited his strengths and protected him at a league average level.

You're recovering
Hes not even close to being in a DJ cult - you clearly dont listen to the guy.
He works for the team, so he has to tread a certain line - but hes pretty clear that upgrading QB should be a priority if they can make it happen.
If you are competing with the Vikings package you need to exceed that.

Yes. You are absolutely the cult and part of the club. It’s obviously something you’ve discussed in your club meetings but one again, and I repeat for the millionth time, no amount of you guys saying “I’m fine with taking a QB, but” is fooling anyone. Somewhere along the way you guys decided that saying that presented you as “unbiased”. Stop playing us for fools.

our 3rd on the value chart. Next year's 1st is out of the question.

#6 is already better than 11 and 23, so anything in addition is gravy. Yes they will likely need to cough up something more than just #70 but next year's #1 is far too much. If the Vikes want to go 11, 23 next years 1 and 3, well then good luck.
