And he said part of his reasoning for accepting the Viking's offer to trade up over ours was because he felt that at 11 they could still get Bowers and good chance also one of the 3 wideouts might fall to them there. They saw our chances being tied into Az being determined to get MHJ over say Odunze or Bowers.

I don't see them valuing an extra late first over our first next year which has the potential to be very high.

but Arizona is another story. We would be helping them bolster next year's draft for the price of picking 6 instead of 4, where they will STILL pick one of the top 2 WRs. There's an excellent chance this will happen. All the picks they already have in the top 105, is the tipping point.

He works for the team, so he has to tread a certain line - but hes pretty clear that upgrading QB should be a priority if they can make it happen.

If you are competing with the Vikings package you need to exceed that.

Qb is almost certainly off the table. It's nice to dream, but not realistic. It is either Qb1 and WR2 or take late flyer on Qb.

Yes. You are absolutely the cult and part of the club. It’s obviously something you’ve discussed in your club meetings but one again, and I repeat for the millionth time, no amount of you guys saying “I’m fine with taking a QB, but” is fooling anyone. #6 is already better than 11 and 23, so anything in addition is gravy. Yes they will likely need to cough up something more than just #70 but next year's #1 is far too much. If the Vikes want to go 11, 23 next years 1 and 3, well then good luck.
