Night One sounds crappy. Aside from the main event and I guess Becky vs. Rhea (Rhea's going to win), there is not an appealing match there.
They'll both be fine matches, but outcomes are predictable

Also earlier was nxt stand and deliver. Only real surprise was Corbin and Breakker retaining. I was hoping they would drop them so Bron can move full time to the main roster and bring Corbin with him. Didn’t know how it would work but those two have turned into a pretty damned good tag team

HOF was very weird this year with Heyman opening. Underwhelming class too for the 40th anniversary.

Not necassarily, i thinj the expectation is Jey wins but with the championship match looming tomorrow and the bloodline rules i dont think anything is a given..
I do think Gunther wins but there will be some sort of shenanigans with Gable getting involved

It's a huge difference from when had to buy the PPVs at full price but now we get inundated with ads and sponsors
Rock was okay. He held his own. Wasn't great by any means, but he was okay. Cody and Rollins...honestly, if tonight taught me anything, it's that this crowd won't give two shits if Cody wins the title tomorrow, which it looks like he will.
He's going to win the title tomorrow "against all odds" unless there's an audible called because of how indifferent the crowd was towards Cody.

The crowd only likes to sing songs. They're fickle. The same thing would've happened with Shinsuke Nakamura. If you have a catchy theme, you can get yourself over.
But aside from singing, tonight showed that the audience was COMPLETELY indifferent. It wasn't a hot crowd and Cody and Rollins had no babyface support. The best the crowd could do was a few scattered "Rocky" chants.

Tomorrow will be way better. Main event is gonna be so stressful. Priest is gonna cash in on somebody. Logan Paul is a legit superstar facing two of the all time greats. And MJF is gonna make a shock debut ( haha maybe not ).

Yeah it felt like a warm up, which i dont mind, thought the actual wrestling was good, just no unoredictability, i expect a lot tonight

I wonder if WWE will reconsider having Mania in a place like this and set a precedent that it needs to be in a dome or warm weather city.
I also wonder if with multiple days of festivities leading up to mania (WWE WORLD, Stand and Deliver earlier in day) that fans may just be exhausted.

i went to the mania at Metlife a few years ago and by the main event the crowd was exhausted and it started getting chilly..
A lot of wrestlers will say if they arent main event they want to be 1st

That I’ll disagree with. The we want Cody movement proved that. He’s not the best technical guy and he probably won’t have some historic reign but he will be exactly what the fans have wanted in a champion and do everything Roman won’t mainly be there every week. Not a knock on Roman with his battle with cancer twice, by all means he’s earned that part time schedule but I’ll always believe part timers have no business being champion
You have to give him credit though for actually listening to the people when he tried to waltz in to the main event. How many other ego driven wrestlers that have the power the rock has with being on the board would of just went ahead with it anyways and not care what they think.
