“There are off-the-field questions Nabers has had to answer to during the draft process, and teams must feel comfortable with those answers if they’re going to invest an early draft pick and millions of dollars in his services.”
𝗥𝗨𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗦: LSU WR Malik Nabers is known as a “high maintenance” prospect who could struggle in a big city, per @TonyPauline - (

Unfortunately the best thing and the worst thing that ever happened to him was the catch against the Cowboys. Dude became the most recognizable NFL player overnight and he wasn't ready for that.

Which WRs aren’t divas? Haha. I know there are receivers like Mike Evans who are low maintenance, but man does that position attract some characters.

Are you friends with Odunze and Nabers?
I'm not necessarily friends with Nabers, but I have his number and he has mine. I've worked with him on at least 5 occasions and have met/spent some time with him on 20+ occasions. I don't know where Pauline is getting this info. The dude is probably one of the most lowkey WRs I've ever seen and I've met every big name NFL/CFB WR over the last 25 years. It's almost like Pauline pulled it out of his ass because of where he went to school and he's a similar player to Odell.
I believe you more than I believe all these personality hot takes. People hear something and they automatically assume the worst case scenario. Caleb is a diva, who is stupid and uncoachable. Why? Because he once painted his nails. Nabers is difficult, because some rando on the internet "heard" something. Most of this is misguided bullshit. And if the Giants are making decisions based on rumor, innuendo and 3rd hand speculation, I'll be out on this team.
Yeah I have no reason to lie about these dudes. I'm not making money off of clicks. Malik is cool as hell. Brian Thomas is ehh. Jayden Daniels is a dickhead.
Caleb has been nice everytime I've met him. He's kind of a weirdo with the painting his nails shit, but that's his generation. I'm 35. My Nephew is 24. The way him and his friends dress is fucking weird to me. Thankfully he doesn't paint his nails or wear makeup or anything, but he has friends that do and it's normal amount their peers. They aren't looked at like weirdos. I personally don't have a problem with it. A lot of the old school NFL does. I spoke to both Phil Simms & Bill Cowher about Caleb at the Super Bowl in Vegas. They both have an issue with the nails, makeup, crying to his Mom and said there are definitely people in the NFL that will as well.
I think he's going to shut them up.
He’s going to be productive no matter who’s throwing the ball. Personally, I would rather have the Plax twin (Odunze). But any of these 3 would be great additions!
Also, some of the comments on this thread are weird.
"Tony Pauline doesn’t have sources." Really? How could you possibly know all the people that Pauline does and doesn't know?
And then another poster suggesting that Nabers said, "they (the Giants) have to get the QB situation resolved" is suspect to say the least. If Nabers had said something like that it would have been widely reported or at least mentioned by another BBIer before now. But then to suggest that this alleged quote would lead to Nabers being disgruntled and "trying to force his way out of NY" is a big-time jump to conclusions.
Nabers would be my pick if the Giants can't get QB-3 or 4.

I've heard some things about him and his teammates. I think that could become an issue. Also judging someone off of being around them for a few hours is very tough.
Aaron Hernandez for example. I met him for the first time while we were both still in HS. Met him hundreds of times throughout his college career. Hung out with him, Louis Murphy & Pouncey Twins. Hung out in his dorm room. Hung out with him at parties the UF players would throw. The guy couldn't have been nicer. Always the life of the party. Always super happy. Just a wonderful person to be around. Even in the NFL. The 2nd to last game he played in the NFL was against the Jaguars in Jacksonville. Met up with him at the Pats team hotel in Jacksonville. Same guy I grew to know throughout his college career. Dude ends up being a fucking murderer. If you told me 1 guy on those Gators teams was going to murder someone and told me to pick someone I'm not sure Aaron would even end up in my top 25. Looking back he was a master at disguise.

I've worked with a couple of dozen athletes, active and retired. Short encounters. Almost all of them were polite and respectful.

What do you do btw, if you’re comfortable sharing

He wasn't high maintenance or a diva in college either. He also got a bad rap in the media. I've probably had 50-60 conversations with Odell. He was always very cool. Always very welcoming. Still to this day he's cool as hell. I played in the DJ Khaled charity golf tournament last year and Odell was in it. Was awesome with everyone there. Especially the fans.

No I don't mind at all. I sell sports memorabilia. So I do a lot of signings with NFL guys. I do NIL deals with college guys.
I don't know what you would call it, but I find stuff. If they want a certain piece of jewelry I'll get them in contact with a jeweler or if they want a rare pair of shoes or clothing, piece of art etc etc they come to me.
He's NOTHING like Toney. So far opposite of Toney.

I'm just surprised to hear that you're 35. For some reason I thought you were an "old" retired guy. (Probably because you're "in FL". ;>)
Found the Jaden Daniels comment interesting. Especially if he drops for some reason. Again, thanks!

We might be able to help each other, I’m an agent and work with a bunch of basketball and football players. I think Eric could give you my email

I will argue this...if this report is true, I'd steer clear of him. The KT89 experience is too fresh.

Granted people have bad days I get that, but The interactions I've had with him for a full year apart and I wasn't a fan of him as a person or his family to be quite honest and all of my encounters with him were prior to Game 1 of 2023. Was very cocky for a guy that wasn't projected much more than a late round pick. So who knows how big that head is after the season he had.

Yeah I will definitely get your email from him. I have some personal stuff going on at the moment so I've taken a step back from work. Unfortunately my Sister got sick and has had a bunch of surgeries and a bunch of hospital stays. Once that gets resolved I will definitely get in contact with you.
Just for future reference if any of your clients ever need anything feel free to contact me. I'm very good at finding things.
First time I ever met Odell was in the family section outside of Raymond James after his last college game. He sat and talked to my Brother and I for a half an hour about staying in school or entering the draft and a bunch of other shit. Good dude.
Odell told me it was the best thing and worst thing ever. He knew his family was good for life after that, but knew fame came way too quick for someone his age. You'll never hear me say a bad word about the guy. He's always been fucking awesome to me.

Actually I've posted it on here a few times. My email is alwaysagiantonlyagiant@gmail.com
I've seen a lot of young men grow up a huge amount in one year. I am NOT and expert but I think character would come into play even more with the QB position. I remember reading, "There's the life of an NFL player and then there is the life a NFL Quarterback!" But, your insight has been awesome to read!
If the point is to generate clicks being ambiguous would serve his purpose better. I mean, quite literally every prospective pick has to "satisfy difficult questions". It's a 4 month vetting process. Just feels click bait-y.

Yeah he's young. If I was in his position at that age I'd probably have been an asshole as well. I don't hold it against the dude. I wouldn't wish any ill will towards him.
100000% the quote about life of an NFL player and NFL QB is true. I've been saying it for years. Was just talking to my best friend about it. It was more in depth than what I'm about to say. Essentially if you go look at HOF QBs/SB winning QBs/great QBs they never left the team hotel. Not for anything. They'd sit upstairs and watch film/meet with coaches. A lot of QBs that have ended up being busts didn't have that same work ethic. I've seen QBs that are now considered busts going out about 10 minutes after the team arrived to the hotel and legit sprinting into the hotel to make it to meetings on time.
I just didn't like him personally. Very cocky. Very full of himself. It has no bearing on him being a great QB IMO. He basically was treating people like they were beneath him or that he was too good for them. If it was a one time thing it wouldn't have bothered me as much. The first time was prior to the LSU bowl game last year and the second time was prior to the FSU game.

Thanks. I would not have imagined that from his interviews.
There was talk during the 2023 season that there may have been some friction with Daniels and his ASU teammates at one point. I didn't give it too much credence, but perhaps it was a real thing...

There's definitely some fake people in the NFL & CFB. Nice guys in front of the camera and not so nice guys off of camera. Some of them have been shocking. But there's a lot more good people unfortunately the media doesn't highlight the good guys in the NFL like they should.
Really? I hadn't heard that about Daniels & his ASU teammates. Based on my interactions with him it wouldn't surprise me.
@Schultz_Report
There is so much wrong with this “report,” I don’t even know where to start. To attack a young person’s character with anonymous quotes less than three weeks before the NFL Draft is flat-out wrong. Malik Nabers deserves better.
This stuff happens every year during draft season, and largely, most of it is false and is being spread to get a player to drop. Stop with this.
Thanks everyone for the well wishes! It's greatly appreciated!! If we don't go QB I would be ecstatic with Nabers. He's an absolute stud. I think he has top 3 WR potential in the NFL.

It was a dumb take that Pauline put it. Glad he was called out on it.

Nabers is personally my favorite WR in this draft. If the Giants end up with one, he’s the one I want and the one the Giants seem to want too.

It is why I would rather the Giants take Odunze.
I think Daniels at best is a mid level QB and any attitude or character issue if true certainly doesn't help. Good scouts should be able to screen for potential issues with any player imv.

Dude, it's in our interest that Kliff Kingsbury thinks Daniels is the man.
Big up to Jayden "the Commander" Daniels.
I'm not trying to knock the kid at all nor saying he's a bad person or will be a bad QB. Just wasn't personally a fan of his I'm better than you attitude. There are plenty of great QBs with that same attitude including the current QB of our little Brother.
