Note: Walter Football is indicating that the Giants also had visits with QB Bo Nix and and Ohio St. OG Mathew Jones. Since they are the only site reporting this, I am not including them at this time.
Team visits are held with players for 3 reasons:
1. To further review medical questions.
2. To further confirm a strong interest in drafting a player
3. To eliminate a player from the Giants draft board
Draft decisions will change from year to year, but its worth noting that of the Giants 30 visits last year, 4 of those players were then drafted by the Giants (Banks, JMS, Hyatt, and Hawkins).
Statistically speaking in terms of the players selected vis a vis the entire draft pool, this is hugely telling.
They seem to go down the list and check each of the holes (that I feel are needed to fill).....and they fill it.
.....without even asking me!!!!

Seriously, though, thanks for keeping this up to date Y28, your contributions are highly valued.
Giants are very likely to take a couple of these guys. I noticed the list seems to be light on day 2 prospects - which may indicate a trade up, or may be nothing. Also, don’t the Rutgers and PSU guys not count as 30 visits since they are “local”?
