Note: Robinson, Melton, and Johnson all visited on Thursday, April 10th- the same date as the Giants local pro day. Were there visits Top 30 or local? Currently I am including them as the list grows toward 30.
Team visits are held with players for 3 reasons:
1. To further review medical questions.
2. To further confirm a strong interest in drafting a player
3. To eliminate a player from the Giants draft board
Draft decisions will change from year to year, but its worth noting that of the Giants 30 visits last year, 4 of those players were then drafted by the Giants (Banks, JMS, Hyatt, and Hawkins).
Only the Giants would waste 26 of their 30 visits on guys they weren't drafting

Dane Brugler and Daniel Jeremiah, especially Brugler is really high on Andru Phillips.
He compared him to Roger Mccreary who was chosen by Titans in front of us. Rico mentioned before that Mccreary was our target in 2022. Also our Bowen was defensive coordinator for Titans when Mccreay was picked by Titans. So if we connect the dots, I would believe Phiillips is very high on our board.

Jim Nagy and Dane Brugler are expecting Phillips to be selected in the 2nd rd. I think if we want Phillips or Melton we gotta use our 2nd rd.

Good info, I need to do a little more research on both him and Melton.
It doesn't apply to every player, but the most common trait among the guys they've brought in, to me, is physicality. Beebe, Sinnott, Smith, Boyd....
