With the FA pickups and current roster players I'm not sure this is as much a priority as QB, WR, CB, S, TE. And swing tackle is possibly a bigger priority than OG so maybe not at all.
Normally I'm Team Basketball on Grass, but I'd like to see them establish the IOL as a strength. I think there's a good chance Eluemunor ends up the right tackle.
Depth guys. If an OL is clear bpa in rd2-3 I would take one, but I think QB/WR/TE/CB/DL are bigger needs eight now. Man typing that out really makes me not want to trade up for Maye..
The Giants don't have many draft choices. They need to find a CB for sure. A #1 WR is a need as well a future QB. That looks like either or. Depth on the DL is needed. They won't cover all of their needs. I would not draft a OG given the OL FA signed unless a great value pick. UNDFA OG is likely.

I would sure hope that Ezeudu/McKethan are as good as any UDFA they could pick up. If not, that was some shit drafting
S,RB,CB,WR,TE,QB,all need to be addressed
You also want DL and IOL...
Trade back can get alot of those
If no trade back then IOL Should not get addressed until 4th rd
they don’t draft a guard. The guys on the roster, the vet free agents they signed, UDFA’s and other teams’ camp cuts may have to cover that position for this season.
Lotta needs and not a lotta picks.
You don’t draft positions, you draft players. If an O-lineman is at the top row of your board, you consider him. This year, I think a lot of things have to align for them to pick an OG. But you could say the same about other positions.
and come away thinking WR or CB is a more pressing need than guard is beyond me. There probably isn't a guard worth taking at 6 this year but if Quenton Nelson or Zach Martin was sitting there I'd take him in a heartbeat.
and a defensive line tied for 28th in sacks, these should be the priority. They added a good free agent to both, but don't stop there. The D-Line is one more disruptive pass rusher away from being a top 10 unit.
I would seriously consider re-signing Adoree Jackson. From his first round pedigree through the season before last he's always been a quality cover back. Last year not so good, but the team was out of the playoffs by about week 5 and many vets don't play their best on a team going nowhere.
Impressed that in his two years here he's only drawn three flags each season. Last season only one PI call.

We spent like 20 million per year on two starting guards, one with versatility to play tackle or guard. We haven't signed a CB and there are elite all pro potential WRs likely to be there at our first pick. Schoen seems to have planned to not have a pressing need at guard going into the draft.

The OL is trash until proven otherwise. They brought in stopgaps on 2/3 year deals for mediocre money. Assuming the OL is set after these moves is the same shit the FO/fans have thought for the last decade when similar off-season moves were made.
They need a pipeline and quality depth. And they need an honest assessment of Neal. If his future is OG then they should be looking at Morgan out of AZ in the 2nd round. If he’s just an OT then they should be looking at Beebe in round 2.
The goal shouldn’t be to have a passable or average OL. They should be looking to become exceptional there. None of what they have is exceptional besides Thomas.
IMO there is no reason to draft a guard high in this draft
You just signed Runyan who is a guard, Eluemunor who plays guard and tackle, Schlottmann and Stinnie. You have McKethon and Eduzedu who will be coming back to compete for a spot.
The Giants have a far greater needs at CB, WR and S than they do @ guard right now..
just do better than ezeudu. or neal for that matter. i like haynes, beebee, and mahogany at 70 but if they have a conviction no issue at 47. could even be a good spot to slide down 10 spots like they did with wandale and pick up another top 150 pick or 2.
Where we're picking both in round 1 and 2 I'm not sure value will be there. Third round and beyond is where it starts for me relative to our picks and presumed players available at those spots.

I would not at ALL be sad to take an OG at 47, although likely not happening with the signing of Eleumenor and Jon Runyan jr.
Runyon and Eluemunor are works-in-progress until proven otherwise. The last decade of NYG football has demonstrated that the O-line positions are in constant need of player development. If the value presents itself in round 2, I have no issues with going for it.

+1
I think the FA signings were their way to try and shore up guard
Would look great next to Thomas
1 - WR
2 - OL
3 - RB
4 - QB
5 - D, SP, TE
6 - D, SP
Or not? Chime in.
WR
CB
OL
RB
Than whatever works from that standpoint.

or
We go WR in Rd 1, which means Rd 2 is a QB (if Nix or Penix drops), or DT

I could get behind that. Fuaga has multiple OL written all over him. And I would feel great about him solidifying the right side.
IMV, the best OL prospect in this draft.

Cb, edge, wr, DT etc.
