Just ran into #Giants CB Nick McCloud at the airport. The Giants are back at the practice facility as a team starting tomorrow.
No matter what the @giants do in the draft in terms of CBs he wants that CB2 spot across from Tae Banks.

Have a McCloud mention in my roster position by position breakdown that goes live tomorrow morning. Giants made $3M financial commitment to him as RFA that they have been unwilling to make on the market to this point. A sign he's in their plans at CB2, I believe at top of list.
Might be a battle between Pinnock, Belton and Mills.
If he’s going to challenge for a starting spot this year, he can’t be moving all over the place. CB is probably his best option.
I’m just not as high as Belton as others, as he scares me as a tackler.
+1
same, he's filled a bunch of spots and never looked out of place.
This. Everyone on the roster who isn't a starter is fighting for a starting job. Most aren't worthy. McCloud has been a solid backup. The fact that Adoree is probably gone doesn't necessarily make him better than that. Even if he wins the job, that doesn't mean he's a solid starter. Prove it, Nick

I was glad to see them tender him.

he and Rodarius Williams were some of my fav UFA's the Giants developed over the years. Williams left due to injury but McCloud has been consistently getting better.
always felt he would make a good FS.
