If NE takes McCarthy - the bidding war to get to 4 from the Giants and Vikings might be the most entertaining part of the draft.

I still think they could have it setup where they jump back up to 4 from 6 for JJM with a deal in place. We will see though.
There's a reason NE may prefer JJM to Maye and its not because JJM is a good Ole Michigan QB.
I think the idea that Mara/Gettleman saw a lot of Jones in Eli based on superficial shit isn't that crazy.

I think what we are both referring to is there are valid reasons NE might want JJM over Maye. It will be fun to watch how all these QBs pan out over the years.

I believe a poster alluded to a 3 team trade with NYG, NE & ARI. It doesn't happen in the NFL, but it makes sense if NE prefers JJM.
--NYG moves up to 3 and takes Maye.
--NE drops to 4 and takes JJM.
--ARI drops down to 6 and takes Harrison/Nabers.
Minnesota gets boxed out of QB. NE gets an extra pick for dropping down. ARI gets a 2025 first from NYG to go down to 6.

Yep and odds are if NE does this then they would take JJM over Maye anyway. Would be nice if we could do it for pick 6 2025 1st and 3rd, but would probably need to be 2025 2nd. 11 days 45 minutes and counting..

People keep referencing Feldman as if he was voicing his own opinions. Feldman was sharing quotes from a number of college coaches and he also did his own mock draft. So Feldman's mock does not have to match those collected opinions.
The Giants really want Maye just not sure how they get him. The consolation prize is Nabers or Odunze.

Oh, yeah. Jones checked a lot of boxes: Manning Camp, Cutcliffe, Eli-like-personality, southern, etc.
The draft starts at #2 with Washington. And then re-starts at #3 with the Pats.
I'm sticking with Maye to Washington, Pats (wisely) move down, and Daniels falls to six.
I doubt we take the risk of waiting. We will make a move for 4.

It is, actually, if you think people that rose in organizations and got jobs for decades at the highest level, and are that stupid, basing a selection on physical appearance.
Yes, bit does Maye have more upside? I could be completely wrong, but I tend to think that he does.
