Chargers more likely to move further down. Cards have to be more careful.
If the Patriots stay and pick their QB which I believe they will, then the Chargers are the obvious choice for Minnesota to deal with for a QB, which is probably JJ.
Take a look at Atlanta. Over the years they drafted Drake London, Kyle Pitts, Bijon Robinson and without a Quaterback it has resulted in less playoff appearances than we have had the last 4 years..
I gave DJ the benefit of the doubt and saw what happens when things are less than perfect for him . We need a QB and it starts with Maye but the fall back is JJM..

Agreed. Picking a top WR without any answer to upgrade this QB room is a folly.

So the Giants get on the clock at #6 and the top4 QBs are gone. What are you suggesting? They just pass on making any pick at all.

How about trading down?
It's an option.
That's what I would do. Trade down with eyes on Penix.
thinks the Giants will try to move up but fail and settle for the WR.
This seems like classic 'We tried to trade up for a QB, but we couldn't!' spin in an attempt to placate the fan base for rolling out Jones this fall. I'm starting to see this a mile away.

Along with Jones is fully recovered from his neck press talk today.

I'd be down for that.
Penix then WR.
Keep no 47 though. Gonna be a good spot to pick IMO.

I really want a QB and think it should be priority 1, but I have a hard time referring to having to draft Harrison/Odunze/Nabers as settling. It’s more like when we “settled” for Andrew Thomas. These 3 are legit blue chip prospects.
And I get it, its really semantics from Bucky, but I think a lot of people on the board would view it as settling when the reality is drafting Penix/Nix at 6 as the 5th QB taken is what settling really looks like.
The Patriots are more in need at QB than the Giants...

See that is different.. I am not saying take the 5th QB, I am saying if Maye is there get him, if not JJM is still much better than what we have now and can become so much more.. you can't take a WR over one of those two (or Daniels if he slides)
the Giants not being able to move up in the draft is a con/built in excuse, probably believe FDR knew about the attack on Pearl Harbor but kept it quiet to get into WW2 or that we faked landing on the moon.
Better get used to the idea that the Pats want a QB and won't trade, AZ wants MHJ and won't trade or that Minny over pays badly to move to 3,4 or 5. There is a very good chance the price to move is too exorbitant or the other teams do not want to trade.
I want a new QB too, but I also know you cannot give away the store for a QB that is likely not your favorite or really isn't as good as people think. That being said, I would take Penix at 6 or Nix with a slight trade back. In fact, I would love to drop back to 9 or 11 for an extra 2nd and 4th(or whatever) and take either of Penix or Nix.
Say Minn 11 and 23 for NYG 6 and 47 or Chicago #9 and 75 for #6(might need a 2025 pick from Chicago).
Not sure the Cardinals nor Chargers want to go down too far
No, there are those who think the Pats could move down.
More curious who it is-Drake or JJM.
LOL

People remember this but, conveniently forget they got their asses handed to them the next week by the Eagles.
Because they don't have one?
