Like or dislike the guy, thought this was interesting b/c of the inside slant.
Thoughts on what to do with DJ.
Some restructures.
A trade proposal (swap of picks) for a vet skill position player...to trade and re-engineer his contract and re-sign him long-term.
And a group of players he would like to see us draft.
Also mentions he wants to be brought back as a "glue guy" on the OL.

You're definitely not alone. I'd like to hear what the guys on the Giants roster think of him referring to himself as a "glue guy."
He sure does like to hear the sound of his opinions.
Yeah that one lost me. Also not sure how you call Jones and tell him he is your guy, and then still possibly select a QB in the first round.
You are my guy, until this guy is my guy!
Why would you make a trade and have a $110 million dollar contract with a $30 million signing bonus?
You need a great # 1 receiver? Just use your CAP money wisely and draft one of the top 3.
His trade proposal is terrible.

Was just coming to write this.
As an aside, i have nothing against pugh. Think he was pretty good all around and this is not an ad hominem attack but that is a really foolish trade
He has no value, even as depth on a good team. I wish he would just STFU and retire. Better yet, I wish an NFC East team sign him and start him.
Schoen’s FA moves address the line and they can use their existing picks to take players on the OL & DL for depth if the value is there. But they aren’t wining with Daniel Jones.
Pugh may be a nice guy but he has as much credibility on his plan as an armchair QB. He needs to go away already.
Bring this guy back now that he has shown himself to be the “ smartest” person in the room?
And personally, I'm in the "don't blow draft capital to trade up for a QB this year" club, so I find his approach-at the very least-interesting. I would not hate it if we got Aiyuk and a decent lineman out of the deal (I'm hoping we land Odunze if we stay at 6).
