Christian’s radar is up because you forgot to mention Slayton :)
A stud number 1 WR makes all the other WRs better and in more comfortable roles.
The biggest question mark is TE. Walker really has them in a bind.
I sensed the disruption in the universe, I thought maybe it was the breakfast tacos.
If the Giants pick Nabers, the presumptive starting receivers are Nabers, Slayton, and Robinson. Hopefully Hyatt unseats Slayton, but I wouldn't bet on that early on.
Or take Odunze. As popular of a mock draft selection as Nabers is, I don't think he's the guy we take.
Trade up with whom for whom.
I agree with Bitey
and to answer your question, my gut says it would be Maye @ 4 Or Odunze @ 6.
The only reason I say 4 is because Arizona seems like the first team who does not go QB but does not what to fall too far to miss out one of the 3 wideouts.
one of the stud receivers immediately transforms the entire WR room. It would be an awesome outcome.
However, the Giants will be falling further behind in the QB arms race in the division once the Commanders take Daniels.
I agree completely and that is the problem with going WR at1.06. Where (and when) are we getting a QB? If somehow we could get Nix or Pennix, it might be ok. However, in all likelyhood, that would mean surrendering next year's 1st to move up high enough for either of those guys. If that is not in the cards, we are doomed for *at least* two more years of shitty football and no real chance of being a contender. Throw in that a Nabers or Odunze would be screaming at their agent to get them out of NY after playing 2 years trying to lasso Jones' off target throws and you have an even bigger problem - no QB or WR1.
If there is no QB drafted (with a legitimate chance of becoming a starter), all hope lies with Drew Lock. That's pretty scarey.
RE: RE: I still think we look to trade up for a QB
Immediately makes this team better. All of the other WRs get to move one spot down. Slayton as our #1 is poor. He can move to 3 or 4 with Robinson the 2 and Hyatt can be the 3 or 4.
Slayton is a great 3 or 4 and a terrible 1.
RE: RE: RE: I still think we look to trade up for a QB
In Nabers, along with Slayton and Hyatt, we will have three WRs who each can take the top off the defense. 01 personnel with Penix at the helm would instantly be the most explosive passing formation on paper this franchise has ever had, assuming Waller still wants to play and Robinson is the slot/motion guy.
Make it so Joe!

Arizona and Maye. I could be wrong on this but I have a few things bringing me to this
What are the things bringing you to this?
NE needs a QB. I think McCarthy is both a system and personality fit. Arizona needs a WR, swapping with us at 6 guarantees then a blue chip. Ryan Cowden worked with AZ’s GM in Tennessee, relationships are huge in trades.

I prefer Odunze personally as well, but just going by the betting odds and draft analysts, Nabers is the favorite pick to be selected by the Giants.

I mean, wasn’t this said when OBJ came here and was playing with Shepard and Cruz? Nothing is guaranteed.

What 3-4 guys have similar odds? That’s not what the betting services are showing. Only Rome Odunze is close.
and this isn't the martinis talking - best Giants WR trio ever (and one great special teamer who played WR)
