This isn't a positive metric for him. Tweet says "This is legitimately crazy. I've never had a QB prospect under 40% stand and deliver before, and certainly not a Round 1 guy." For the sake of comparison, JJ was at 45% and Maye was at 55%.
Not to mention play style, college offense scheme demands,
Scares me to death. He's going to the big-boy league now. I think it's why the Commandos had all of them in recently (Daniels, Maye, McCarthy, Penix...), to figure things out (by now most draft rooms should have had their QB choice at the top figured out?). RGIII redux? Unless he changes his style and puts some meat on his bones, he may not last long on the active roster.
Marcus Whitman (aka That Franchise Guy) appeared on NFL Stock exchange with Sikkema and Rogers and all three are cautious about him and have him behind Maye.
1. Whitman: In recent reviews arm talent less than he remembered. More than a few underthrows. Closer to JJM and Penix than Maye.
2. Sikkema: He's a runner, he doesn't routinely scramble to throw with eyes downfield
Plus, observations that he overrelies on slot fades with his superior WRs at LSU and forsaking the middle of the field.

The SEC isn't the "big-boy league" of the FBS?
I would hope the team who gets JD reminds him to run smarter, but do not discourage his running.
Because when you can run like a gazelle, it's stupid not to take advantage of that gift.
Daniels is on the higher end in taking sacks.

BigBlueBanter guys were discussing these two points as well in their observation.
I like him going to WFT.

I get that and I hope I'm wrong about him
