He shouldn't be risking his career for the first round.
I don’t know man. The Sixers don’t seem to be prioritizing Embiid long term health over winning now. It’s giving me RG3 vibes when the Redskins ruined his career playing on a bad leg

I woukdnt be shocked if he sits tomorrow, i think he played the 2nd half because they knew this was their best chance to steal one..
They were claiming it was just scar tissue type of thing, that wasnt scar tissue, the knee buckled with a brace on and in the second half he had no quick twitch moves it was all bully or long shots
For anybody in NYC, Lou’s athletic club has a massive, massive screen and the atmosphere is like your at the game. A++ last night (I have nothing to do with the bar lol)
Thx for the tip I may go if I can swing it. As long as I’m with the fellow psychos I’m fine. Don’t have to be at msg…

Philly eats their own, time and time again. All one needs to do is go through the list of legendary Philly athletes and see how many actually finished their career in that same town. The number of players who leave Philly while in their prime is abnormally high. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is the final death march for embid in Philly. I know every situation was and is different. Reggie white isn’t the same thing as Randal Cunningham and Cunningham isn’t the same as Charles Barkley and so on. It’s still a weird pattern.
For those saying we can't expect that from Deuce haven't seen
much of the Knicks since IQ, RJ and Grimes has been shipped out. Miles has been the Knicks best 3 point shooter and I have more confidence he will make his shot than almost any other knick if he is open or has space.
I don’t see how anyone looks at this game and sees
Ok maybe the bench scoring differential evens out some, but then Brunson, Divo and Hartenstein probably can and will all have better games.
Embiid is not getting better any time soon on that knee. I think that much is obvious.
Its mainly sixers fans, i think they believe Brunson and DDV will continue to play badly and that Deuce, Hart and Bogi will all suck the rest of the series
Its easy for me to say but if i am the Sixers i sit him, give him 4 days rest before game 3
I agree, stealing game two is not as crucial for them that winning their home games and and live to steal one in NY at some point later in series. Their best chance of that is with a rested healthier Embid
The play-in and playoff games so far have been unwatchable. Basically home team blowouts.
Been the same thing in every game. Home team gets a quick 12-0 type of run of a few threes and then just never lets up.
Story of playoffs. Who’s role players knock down there shots and show up on road games.

His stats have been down significantly since he came back from the hamstring injury in January, but I don't think it's just the hamstring.
On April 6, he was listed as questionable with back soreness and there was this:
Quote:
Indiana Pacers star guard Tyrese Haliburton is questionable for the Indiana Pacers battle with the Miami Heat that will take place tomorrow.
According to the injury report, Haliburton has back soreness, and it has his status in question. At various times this season, the All-Star ball handler has needed to wear something on his hip/back area while sitting on the bench, but it hasn't held him out of any action.
The 24-year old guard hasn't missed a game since January 28th. He was dealing with a hamstring injury at the time.
to sweep this series, so they’ll mail in a couple of games along the way. That’s when Haliburton will do his stat padding and get his series averages in good shape.
At haliburton he played well they just tried to take the ball out of his hands and did it.
He played 37 minutes had 7 Reb and 8 assists but you could see the goal was to stop him and let the rest of the team beat them.
Bucks had a solid defensive game plan

If the Knicks end up facing them, that will probably be Bucks blueprint to defend Brunson and Knicks
That type of defense only works if the team is not hitting 3s
This am. What hurts a player like Haliburton is playing teams like the Bucks or Celtics where their bigs (Porzi/Lopez) like to hang back at the 3 point line instead of crashing the offensive glass it cuts down on his fast breaks which is a huge part of his game.

Pacers won 4 out of 5 against the Bucks this year, scoring tons of points. Haliburton averaged 27 pts, 11 assists and 19 FGAs. In the last of those 5 games, he scored 31 on 10-20 from the field, as the Pacers scored 142.
If Bucks had anything special figured out against Haliburton, you couldn't tell from the games. All five of those games were wrapped up by January 3, before Haliburton's January 8 hamstring injury.
Last night, TH takes 7 shots and was stuck on 4 for most of the game. Brunson had a bad game, for him, and was pressed and doubled, but he still got his shots.
Yeah but the playoffs are a way different animal than the RS
Haliburton's game is fast paced and things slow down in the playoffs so yes Milwaukee will be a lot more effective rotating their bigs back for rim protection
Until the playoffs, we are spoiled watching the Knicks go out every night and play hard on both sides of the court.
That was a different Bucks team defensively last night.
They slowed the pace and made it a half court game they pressed Haliburton on in bounds after made baskets and just made him uncomfortable the whole game. He could be hurt but either way Indy is looking at a short series if they don't get him going.
He shouldn't be risking his career for the first round.

Tomorrow's game is huge so he might tough it out.

I’d prefer to see them knock off the Bucks in the upset

Absolutely I don't want to see the Bucks in the 2nd round even with home court.
I was hoping the Pacers would make this a series but they look shook.
Bucks are shutting him down, it's playoff basketball make everyone but your star beat you.
Playing passive, not looking for his shot, constantly looking for that cross court pass

Why has Halliburton only taken four shots? He’s three of four I would think he’d be shooting more
