With the 76ers getting the 7 seed, Philly will now host the Knicks next Thursday night for Game 3. The Commanders will be drafting a new franchise QB at some point during that first half. Where will Josh Harris, owner of both teams, decide to be that night?
For Brunson they are either going to have to blitz or double, or play with some sort of zone...They cant guard him with Batum or Lowry, Brunson would cook both of them..
For Maxey, Knicks can throw a bunch of different looks, they can throw DDV who can chase him and run around screens or you can get more physical with Hart or OG and really make him shoot over length..I like wwaiting to use OG on him until the end of games when it gets slow and they try and run the pick and pop with Embiide and OG's length can really hurt them..
For Embiid the Knicks have plenty and if it comes down to it, Knicks have guys who can double and get back out to shooters, they also have guys who love to get into passing lanes..
Embiid is going to have to keep Hartenstein and Hart off the boards, so he cant just stand still on defense and if they double or bljtz he is gojg to be forced into guard Hart or Hartenstein at the FT line..
As for the role players, Harris and Oubre are awful defenders but they can definitely get hot from 3 which can be scary..
Miami had no shooting, Butler and Herro went 14-45 and lost by 1
If Miami had hung on we may have had a Jimmy-less first round series. I’m sure they would’ve dusted off some G-Leaguer to average 25ppg.
I just remember his really bad ankle sprain last playoffs that kept him out a total of......one game against us and he showed no ill effects after. I bet he keeps playing.
But speaking of injuries, Embiid looks like he's on 1.5 knees out there. Was not moving well. Knicks need to push the pace against this sixers team.
in other words, he's done, and so much for the possibility of the Heat upsetting Boston.
The expectation is Miami's Jimmy Butler will be out multiple weeks, sources said. Butler remarkably played the final three quarters vs. 76ers last night with what is now feared to be an MCL injury. https://t.co/dEDMAuuXuN

Can't have great sympathy for the Heat, given they took out Randle on a questionable play, but didn't like to see Oubre's take out of Butler rewarded by very possibly changing the outcome of last night's game.
Embiid will get his, just as he did in January against the Knicks when they won by 36 in Philly. He's not going to be able to flat out carry the Sixers alone though. I think the Knicks are going to pound them.
I'll be there as well. I went to one of the home playoff games last year and it was one of the best home crowds I've ever experienced. And they've been getting a ton of ex Knicks at these games that the crowd is happy to see. Starks, LJ, Spree, Camby, Melo, STAT, etc. The crowd went nuts for Melo last year.
Talk about a guy who's easy to root for. Then add that he's the Knicks best PG since Clyde and becoming one of the best players in Knicks history. Just hope he can stay healthy for many yrs.

Bill James once summed up Don Mattingly by saying:
"100% ballplayer, 0% bullshit."
I feel like the same applies to Brunson.

As much of an honor as it would be, and it was a snub but is everyone else kind of happy too that they left him off the Olympic team? He definately can use the rest and maybe it motivates him even more in the playoffs.

They act like Embiid is healthy and the Knicks are not good. I know everyone in the media saw his inability to move out get any lift. It's not just conditioning he shouldn't be playing.

Yeah I’ve been avoiding the coverage for this reason. So predictable. Unfortunately the Knicks won’t be respected til we win it all, and I’m sure even that honeymoon will be brief (nationally I mean). Hope we kick Philly’s ass.

Since I live in Philly I really want the Knicks to destroy them. I'm contemplating going to Wells Fargo. The entire national media acts like the Embiid playing will magically be healthy and in shape

That said Saturday can't get here fast enough
They view the Knicks like a try hard team with less talent than everyone else who won games because they simply play harder..They dont believe they can raise their level of play anymore than they already have..
They view the Sixers as vastly talented and that no one on the Knicks can guard Embiid or Maxey...They dont look at the actual matchups, they just look and say oh Sixers have Embiid they are better..
This team though you can tell is focused, from the letter from Brunson, to some of the players wearing black hoodies, you can just tell when a team is ready and i will be there saturday night and its going to be a madhouse
We need good shooting from DDV, Deuce and BB (if he can play) to take
and strong with the media. I wouldn’t even say that it’s a “New York” thing because in the 2018 2019 season, the media was full of praise for a pretty mediocre nets team that won 42 games. Frankly, that was sickening to listen to nonstop.
The Knicks could win 10 championships in a row, the media would still find a way to bash them night in and night out.
and he was talking about how he been a fan since 77, talking about how hard this team plays and then saying how they embody this city and he keeps talking and yiu can just see Josh zhart's leg just keep shaking like he is ready to runt hrough a wall as Morgan keeps talking..
As if the Knicks just breezed through the season in excellent health. "Oh, the Sixers' record would have been much better with a healthy Embiid!" And what would the Knicks' record have been been with a healthy Randle, a healthy OG, a healthy Mitch? Sure, none of those guys are on Embiid's level. Does it matter when the Knicks were absolutely wrecking everyone when Randle and OG were playing together?
There is also a lot of convenient amnesia regarding the fact that the Sixers have been total playoff chokers for a decade.
(I feel your pain Larry in Pencil) and was at game 3 in Philly in 1989 when the Knicks swept them (5 game series). I remember after the game Mark Jackson grabbed a broom and did some sweeping, to rub it in. Maybe not super classy, but F Philly.
The idiots in the national media who don't think the Knicks can beat them with Embiid must not have seen them beat the snot out of them in Philly in Jan.

I'm convinced Barkley was anti-Knicks for years because of the brooms, lol.

last year i was at game 3 and it was insanely loud and eitnessed darius Garland poop hinself on the court
I think tomorrow is going to be even louder, i expect the Garden to be shaking
When Bernard King and the Knicks faced off against Bird and Celtics in 84 semi finals the building was literally shaking. I have been to many Knicks games and nothing ever came close. Hopefully this will for you. Of course since the remodel maybe it’s sturdier lol

I was at game 1 vs the hawks and it was the first game with fans in a long time and the building was shaking, it was insane and rowdy...Even the players said the floor was shaking
Usual doom and gloom from Michael Kay and the boys.
Will Knicks fans turn on Brunson if he struggles in the postseason?!? What a great way to introduce the postseason talk. The guy who dominated last year, kicked ass with the Mavs, and won two national titles in college is suddenly gonna shrink in big games.

and don’t know how to reel themselves back in. Brought up Randle’s struggles from a few years ago as a comparison. Minutes police stuff with Thibs. All the main talking points.

I had the book about the Rangers 1994 season and the aftermath, and they said that there were three times MSG actually shook - when Willis Reed scored his two buckets in Game 7 of the 1970 Finals, when the Rangers beat the Islanders in the decisive Game 6 in 1979 to knock the Isles out of the playoffs, and when Stephane Matteau scored to go to the Cup Final in 1994. Have to add this as the fourth.
If/when the Knicks finally win a championship, the building will shake so much it might cause an earthquake
how about the other side of it when teams do up minites for their players how the Knicks players can handle it and the other team gets tired? that side is never brought up

I was there for the Matteau game and the Knicks Hawks Game 1 and I can promise you they were nothing alike. Both crowds were loud, but the Matteau 94 game was a decibal level for like ten minutes that was absolute bedlam. The closest I had ever heard it for a Knicks game was Game 6 vs Heat in 97 after the fight in Miami in Game 5. for 20 minutes before the game started the people in the building were just screaming "Pat's a rat" over and over and over. Then they put 9 men one mission etc. It was like a college game with the entire audience being the student section. It was insane. Not sure if it got higher than Matteau, but I distinctly remember a kid sitting in front of me who was about 7 years old hysterically crying and hiding under his seat it was so loud when they played that video.
win or lose game 1 for the Sixers, there is only 1 day in between from game 1 to game 2, do they sit Embiid in game 2 in hopes of him getting a little healthier for game 3 thuraday?
Miami Arena is empty on a Heat winner go home game. Lived there 30 years, biggest front runner fans. It's just as empty as the hole they started out in.... Pathetic.
Don't ever knock KNICKS fans for their passion. Garden will be rocking tomorrow

As of this January 2024 report, the Heat had a sellout streak of 576 games, dating back to 2010.
The lower section with empty seats very visible on TV are wealthy season ticket holders. Lots of real people in the seats, which is evident in the highlights from tonight's game.
Can we agree not to use “Sixers shouldn’t have been a 7th seed” as an excuse?
At present, I think we have a better roster with Embiid at 80%. We should be the favorites.
It took Nurse a half to adjust to Miami’s zone D, let’s see these two coaches go at it.

If Rozier plays in that game or Herro doesnt miss every wide open 3 he got, Heat win by 20..
With Butler hurt they had no one to attsck Embiid and they still were getting wide open looks
Knicks/Sixers & Bucks/Pacers are toss-ups, only series so far with no favorite.
One one of the 2 NY-allowed sites, they had slightly worse odds than 76ers. I bet 3x my usual peanuts on our boys.
what site can NYers use?
Draft Kings and Fan Duel are legal in NY state. Last I checked, the odds changed after I posted this and it seemed around even, but I bet there's a lot of betting running up to the game and they might change.
intensity than the knicks. They're killing us on both ends of the floor, getting every loose ball, closing out on shooters. And the knicks are letting their poor shooting effect the defense.
This is no longer a last 2 minutes of the game league. The first quarter often sets the tone of the game. This team simply has to come out of the lockeroom ready to defend. The 1st quarters have been an embarrassment lately.
His defense against Embiid could be big this series. Not even a half in and I’m already sick of watch Embiid truck people and get rewarded with free throws.
Deuce changed the whole game. Really the whole bench did. Bogie was great and even before the injury Mitch had completely changed things pushing Embiid out of his comfort zone

Yup, needed someone to hit some shots, Deuce and Bogo stepped up
And not necessary and he paid for it. Feel for him but the 76ers can't keep walking him out there until he is 100%.
Also they can't build around him any more 76ers are in a bad spot.
I don't know...outside of the Eagles-who I detest with the fire of a million suns-I don't really hate any Philly teams. I'm not into hockey so no Flyers hate. I'm not a Mets fan so no Phillies hate. And as for Knicks-76ers...yeah, not really a lot of big games between us. I don't even think we've ever played against one another in the playoffs?
Obviously I want a sweep in this series, but this might as well be the Giants facing the Jags in a best of seven...not a lot of animosity towards the opponent.
He's crafty, you gotta hand it to him. Those are vet moves to get your team back in the game. First the steal, then embellishing the foul for the and 1, then he hits a 3 next possession, then draws the foul on the 3. He just stole 9 quick points. One off a steal so he potentially made an 11 point difference in a short amount of time.
Really changed the whole game on the defensive end vs Embiid and protecting the rim. Also 7 offensive rebounds and put backs when we were struggling was huge. Plus those 2 fts put the game away
He’s too quick even for plus defenders like Deuce and Hart. Maxey is such a superb scorer. Is he the quickest player in the NBA not named De’Aaron Fox?
Incredible that Kentucky had both Maxey and Quickley in their backcourt. Both play such similar games.
Really win this game for us. Hart was huge down the stretch.
Also, I generally like Hartenstein better but Mitch clearly matches up better against Embiid. Knicks get the win without their best effort.
Mitch should have reminded you tonight that he is a far superior player to IHart when he’s healthy. IHart is a nice player but Mitch is a game changer when he’s on his game
The Sixers are a damn good team. That’s why every other team in the race for the two seed was too petrified to play them so they laid down like dogs to avoid them. The Knicks don’t give a damn who they play and I love it
OG had a rough game, and we still win. Those things aren’t gonna happen every game. That’s a great win, and Mitch n Duece doing enough to get us there is huge. I’m coming out of this one feeling great.

Yup and if we can make it through this round, we got home court next round. Gotta earn it in the playoffs anyway.
IDK about that. Thibs waited a LONG gotdamm time to make subs in the third quarter despite the fact it was clear Hartenstein & DDV were awful. The Knicks being horrendous in third quarters has happened far too frequently.
I’ll give him credit for riding Mitch Robinson until the wheels came off though.
All 4 quarters were like different ball games. We can't count on Hart hitting back to back 3's and for Deuce to do what he did offensively, however you have to think Brunson and DD shoot much better. Also the Knicks shot under 40 for the game but strangely enough were a solid 16-35 from 3 but 20 of 56 from 2. Add in we were an insane +22 on the boards including 23-9 on the offensive glass. Overall a win is a win and you move on but little can be gleaned from this offensive performance going forward. Philly is are what they are. They top out around 110. Embiid got his but he's gonna have peeks and valleys due to his health and conditioning. Maxey when he gets downhill he's impossible to stop but he's on and off from 3. Lowry will probably be a key.

Everyone was screaming about it but the method to his madness was making sure Deuce and Mitch could play the whole 4th. That's when the game was decided. He brings Mitch in 6 minutes into the 3rd no way that would have been possible. Guys Thibs knows what he is doing. I think he's earned that over the past 4 seasons.
It's nice to win a game without Brunson scoring 45 points, but those
nights will be infrequent when opposing defenses are geared towards stopping him. Can't be counting on Hart to hit four 3's a game. So who's gonna score?
Good to see the old Mitch. He got some of his old bounce back tonight.
Embiid definitely tweaked his knee, I wonder if they will image him before Game 2. Not gonna lie, I was shocked he came out for the 3rd, thought it was going to be a Willis moment.

Deuce and Bojan flipped the game, both were agressive and both were hitting 3s, Deuce's defense on Maxey was very good..
Place was electric, Josh Hart was amazing the last 6 minutes, Brunson hit a couple of big shots but he was pressing a little bit, he got a little window and took the shot, he will adjust and be fine..
Sixers basically gave Hart and OG wide open 3s and lived with it..
Embiid couldnt move in the 2nd half, he wasnt move on defense, they were swtiching when Embiids man went to set the pick so he didnt habe to move, part of the reason why the Knicks were getting offensive boards and wide open 3s
The self-confidence arising from that hard work inspired those fearless threes in the 2Q that turned the game and, as things played out, kept the game in range when the starters had a rough 3Q.
I get players trying to gut it out but not sure you should have your franchise hobbling around and a recently surgically repaired knee.
He did not look right at all.
For anybody in NYC, Lou’s athletic club has a massive, massive screen and the atmosphere is like your at the game. A++ last night (I have nothing to do with the bar lol)
I think one adjustment defensively Thibs should make
take OG off of Maxey and put him in one of the help positions..
With OG in the help, Maxey would either have to pass it out or take a much more difficult shot..
Offensively Brunson has to slow down a little bit, seemdd like everytime he got a little daylight he took the shot and it was a little forced..Just keep trusting teammates to knock down the open 3, eventually the Sixers are going to have to relqx a little on the doubling and pressing the ball

No not the entire game, when they were both on the court i believe it was Mcbride, bit to start the game and the 3rd OG was on him and i think OG struggles a little bit with small quick guards, he is better on help in those situations
He shouldn't be risking his career for the first round.
I don’t know man. The Sixers don’t seem to be prioritizing Embiid long term health over winning now. It’s giving me RG3 vibes when the Redskins ruined his career playing on a bad leg

I woukdnt be shocked if he sits tomorrow, i think he played the 2nd half because they knew this was their best chance to steal one..
They were claiming it was just scar tissue type of thing, that wasnt scar tissue, the knee buckled with a brace on and in the second half he had no quick twitch moves it was all bully or long shots

Philly eats their own, time and time again. All one needs to do is go through the list of legendary Philly athletes and see how many actually finished their career in that same town. The number of players who leave Philly while in their prime is abnormally high. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is the final death march for embid in Philly. I know every situation was and is different. Reggie white isn’t the same thing as Randal Cunningham and Cunningham isn’t the same as Charles Barkley and so on. It’s still a weird pattern.
For those saying we can't expect that from Deuce haven't seen
much of the Knicks since IQ, RJ and Grimes has been shipped out. Miles has been the Knicks best 3 point shooter and I have more confidence he will make his shot than almost any other knick if he is open or has space.
I don’t see how anyone looks at this game and sees
Ok maybe the bench scoring differential evens out some, but then Brunson, Divo and Hartenstein probably can and will all have better games.
Embiid is not getting better any time soon on that knee. I think that much is obvious.
Its mainly sixers fans, i think they believe Brunson and DDV will continue to play badly and that Deuce, Hart and Bogi will all suck the rest of the series
Its easy for me to say but if i am the Sixers i sit him, give him 4 days rest before game 3
I agree, stealing game two is not as crucial for them that winning their home games and and live to steal one in NY at some point later in series. Their best chance of that is with a rested healthier Embid
The play-in and playoff games so far have been unwatchable. Basically home team blowouts.
Been the same thing in every game. Home team gets a quick 12-0 type of run of a few threes and then just never lets up.
Story of playoffs. Who’s role players knock down there shots and show up on road games.

His stats have been down significantly since he came back from the hamstring injury in January, but I don't think it's just the hamstring.
On April 6, he was listed as questionable with back soreness and there was this:
Quote:
Indiana Pacers star guard Tyrese Haliburton is questionable for the Indiana Pacers battle with the Miami Heat that will take place tomorrow.
According to the injury report, Haliburton has back soreness, and it has his status in question. At various times this season, the All-Star ball handler has needed to wear something on his hip/back area while sitting on the bench, but it hasn't held him out of any action.
The 24-year old guard hasn't missed a game since January 28th. He was dealing with a hamstring injury at the time.
to sweep this series, so they’ll mail in a couple of games along the way. That’s when Haliburton will do his stat padding and get his series averages in good shape.
At haliburton he played well they just tried to take the ball out of his hands and did it.
He played 37 minutes had 7 Reb and 8 assists but you could see the goal was to stop him and let the rest of the team beat them.
Bucks had a solid defensive game plan

If the Knicks end up facing them, that will probably be Bucks blueprint to defend Brunson and Knicks
That type of defense only works if the team is not hitting 3s
This am. What hurts a player like Haliburton is playing teams like the Bucks or Celtics where their bigs (Porzi/Lopez) like to hang back at the 3 point line instead of crashing the offensive glass it cuts down on his fast breaks which is a huge part of his game.

Pacers won 4 out of 5 against the Bucks this year, scoring tons of points. Haliburton averaged 27 pts, 11 assists and 19 FGAs. In the last of those 5 games, he scored 31 on 10-20 from the field, as the Pacers scored 142.
If Bucks had anything special figured out against Haliburton, you couldn't tell from the games. All five of those games were wrapped up by January 3, before Haliburton's January 8 hamstring injury.
Last night, TH takes 7 shots and was stuck on 4 for most of the game. Brunson had a bad game, for him, and was pressed and doubled, but he still got his shots.
Yeah but the playoffs are a way different animal than the RS
Haliburton's game is fast paced and things slow down in the playoffs so yes Milwaukee will be a lot more effective rotating their bigs back for rim protection
Until the playoffs, we are spoiled watching the Knicks go out every night and play hard on both sides of the court.
That was a different Bucks team defensively last night.
They slowed the pace and made it a half court game they pressed Haliburton on in bounds after made baskets and just made him uncomfortable the whole game. He could be hurt but either way Indy is looking at a short series if they don't get him going.

With the 76ers getting the 7 seed, Philly will now host the Knicks next Thursday night for Game 3. The Commanders will be drafting a new franchise QB at some point during that first half. Where will Josh Harris, owner of both teams, decide to be that night?
Miami had no shooting, Butler and Herro went 14-45 and lost by 1
Crazy how much cheaper it is.
Not me, just too many times Miami have played spoiler to the Knicks playoff hopes
We can wear him down
Oubre will have to guard Brunson to start.
Oubre will have to guard Brunson to start.
Nurse put Batum on JB in January - Brunson scored 29, and Batum scored 0.
And he started that shoving match with DDV at MSG back in March.
One to watch out for.

Exactly. Eff that dutty muhfugga.

Up to the Knicks to prevent further reward.

As much of an honor as it would be, and it was a snub but is everyone else kind of happy too that they left him off the Olympic team? He definately can use the rest and maybe it motivates him even more in the playoffs.
Yes

The Knicks could win 10 championships in a row, the media would still find a way to bash them night in and night out.
This team is locked in

and they have to hide 2 players on defense...
There is also a lot of convenient amnesia regarding the fact that the Sixers have been total playoff chokers for a decade.
He doesnt watch the Knicks, he watches on national television but he cant sit down and actually talk about the Knicks
Michael J. Fox and Jerry Ferrara know more about the Knicks than SAS.
The idiots in the national media who don't think the Knicks can beat them with Embiid must not have seen them beat the snot out of them in Philly in Jan.
I'm convinced Barkley was anti-Knicks for years because of the brooms, lol.

I was at game 1 vs the hawks and it was the first game with fans in a long time and the building was shaking, it was insane and rowdy...Even the players said the floor was shaking
they really asked that?? seriously?
I had the book about the Rangers 1994 season and the aftermath, and they said that there were three times MSG actually shook - when Willis Reed scored his two buckets in Game 7 of the 1970 Finals, when the Rangers beat the Islanders in the decisive Game 6 in 1979 to knock the Isles out of the playoffs, and when Stephane Matteau scored to go to the Cup Final in 1994. Have to add this as the fourth.
If/when the Knicks finally win a championship, the building will shake so much it might cause an earthquake

Btw, I stopped listening to sports debate shows a long, long time ago and have never regretted it.

At present, I think we have a better roster with Embiid at 80%. We should be the favorites.
It took Nurse a half to adjust to Miami’s zone D, let’s see these two coaches go at it.
Cs in 4.
Knicks in 6.
Pacers in 7. I have real doubts if Giannis even suits up.
Magic in 6.
OKC in 6.
Nuggets in 5.
Suns in 6.
Mavs in 7.

If Rozier plays in that game or Herro doesnt miss every wide open 3 he got, Heat win by 20..
With Butler hurt they had no one to attsck Embiid and they still were getting wide open looks

Draft Kings and Fan Duel are legal in NY state. Last I checked, the odds changed after I posted this and it seemed around even, but I bet there's a lot of betting running up to the game and they might change.

Sorry. He tried to get cute and paid the price. It was totally unnecessary on his part.
Oh well.
He needs to play smarter. That turnover at the end of the half was ridiculous. Just pass the fucking ball.
Yup, needed someone to hit some shots, Deuce and Bogo stepped up
Also they can't build around him any more 76ers are in a bad spot.
Obviously I want a sweep in this series, but this might as well be the Giants facing the Jags in a best of seven...not a lot of animosity towards the opponent.

Not all - but you certainly got your licks in. Enjoy the game you classy fella!
Knick killer
Indeed
He and Dante should not have been in this game this long
He's crafty, you gotta hand it to him. Those are vet moves to get your team back in the game. First the steal, then embellishing the foul for the and 1, then he hits a 3 next possession, then draws the foul on the 3. He just stole 9 quick points. One off a steal so he potentially made an 11 point difference in a short amount of time.
Kyle Lowry had such monstrous shots and momentum just tilting to sixers
Terrible job by Thibs in this quarter.
These minutes with embiid on the bench to start the fourth quarter are gonna be the game
Yup. Mitch, Deuce and Bogo carrying us tonight
They did their homework on Brunson and they’re giving him fits, but he has to find a way to overcome
LFG!
Gus Johnson is calling a GREAT game. Matching the energy.
Well.... My comment has aged well....
I think his knee was bothering him most of the 2nd half. Still tough to play against, but wasn’t moving nearly as much as early on
Embiid couldn't jump in the second half. All his jump shots were short. Gotta sag off him next game until he shows he can jump
I think he comes back with a big one Monday
Deuce was the most valuable player tonight. BY FAR!
Hell, they let him drive early in the second half without sending him to the line with contact. They have to be more aggressive all around with him.
He’s amazing. Until this year, the dude was a black hole on offense, IMO. Now he’s one of our best shooters.
Also, I generally like Hartenstein better but Mitch clearly matches up better against Embiid. Knicks get the win without their best effort.
Incredible that Kentucky had both Maxey and Quickley in their backcourt. Both play such similar games.

Yup and if we can make it through this round, we got home court next round. Gotta earn it in the playoffs anyway.
Mitchell Robinson was fucking awesome
IDK about that. Thibs waited a LONG gotdamm time to make subs in the third quarter despite the fact it was clear Hartenstein & DDV were awful. The Knicks being horrendous in third quarters has happened far too frequently.
I’ll give him credit for riding Mitch Robinson until the wheels came off though.

Good to see the old Mitch. He got some of his old bounce back tonight.
Embiid definitely tweaked his knee, I wonder if they will image him before Game 2. Not gonna lie, I was shocked he came out for the 3rd, thought it was going to be a Willis moment.
Team needs that confidence and Brunson can settle down and know he doesn't need to score 45 to win .
Have to give it to Kelly Oubre and Kyle Lowry. They played amazing defense tonight.
But Mitch, Deuce and Hart were better. And Bogey too.
Also, felt like Nick Nurse channeled Doc Rivers tonight.
So pumped. Let's go.
But those last three quarters, man the Knicks out hustled the sizers by a WIDE margin!!!!
Nauseating.

This
Deuce and Bojan flipped the game, both were agressive and both were hitting 3s, Deuce's defense on Maxey was very good..
He did not look right at all.
Still sign IHart but don't forget Mitch

With OG in the help, Maxey would either have to pass it out or take a much more difficult shot..
Offensively Brunson has to slow down a little bit, seemdd like everytime he got a little daylight he took the shot and it was a little forced..Just keep trusting teammates to knock down the open 3, eventually the Sixers are going to have to relqx a little on the doubling and pressing the ball

Ok maybe the bench scoring differential evens out some, but then Brunson, Divo and Hartenstein probably can and will all have better games.
Embiid is not getting better any time soon on that knee. I think that much is obvious.

I agree, stealing game two is not as crucial for them that winning their home games and and live to steal one in NY at some point later in series. Their best chance of that is with a rested healthier Embid
Been the same thing in every game. Home team gets a quick 12-0 type of run of a few threes and then just never lets up.

On April 6, he was listed as questionable with back soreness and there was this:
According to the injury report, Haliburton has back soreness, and it has his status in question. At various times this season, the All-Star ball handler has needed to wear something on his hip/back area while sitting on the bench, but it hasn't held him out of any action.
The 24-year old guard hasn't missed a game since January 28th. He was dealing with a hamstring injury at the time.

If the Knicks end up facing them, that will probably be Bucks blueprint to defend Brunson and Knicks
That was a different Bucks team defensively last night.
They slowed the pace and made it a half court game they pressed Haliburton on in bounds after made baskets and just made him uncomfortable the whole game. He could be hurt but either way Indy is looking at a short series if they don't get him going.
