one of the best defensive catcher is baseball. But even last year I started "questioning" his pitch selection. Hamilton's cutter/ slider was staying up in the zone and Tevino kept going back to it and Hamilton was getting tagged. The fastball was ok and the slovmo(or whatever Hamilton calls the slider changeup thing) was working. Yet, Trevino kept calling the slider with two strikes..
Bad outing for Hamilton, who is normally very good.

He only has two pitches, and the slombio or whatever was up in the zone, that's why they were hitting line drives.
You really can't blame the catcher if the pitcher is not executing, whether it's Trevino or whomever.
Lately, he hasn't been quite as good. At least they didn't blow it, it was uneasy watching him and Holmes.
