Who is privy to Joe Schoen's thinking regarding #NYGiants draft plans?
Here's my best guess at his inner circle, and I'm not even sure he will have shared exact details with this entire group (not in specific order):
John Mara
Brandon Brown
Tim McDonnell
Dennis Hickey
Brian Daboll
Ryan Cowden
Yeah, that's it for me. There are others very involved in the process. But as far as what Joe shares, I don't think it'd go beyond that group.
And GoDeep13
Ah, the good ole ‘Nephew’ who will be running the Giants one day. Charlie Weis thinks highly of him, if I recall correctly.
And I like that.
After Leonard Floyd, DeVonta Smith, etc. I REALLY like that. They've been a leaky bucket for years.
They'll take input from coordinators and Kafka will be in the room on draft day. But this far out it's going to be a small, controlled circle.
I think Kafka has had substantial input into the scouting and ranking of guys and fit for scheme, but probably not final grades and plans to move up or down.
This. I've heard teams give incorrect information to the larger groups and then speak the truth when the smaller group. It's only multiplied with QB imo.

Yup. The Burns lead and leaking was out there because his agents had been talking to teams with Panthers for weeks since season ended.
The draft is much murkier and complex. Lot of moving parts and dependencies with players and other teams alike.

He’s assistant head coach and Shane Bowen was on the list

I’m going to echo this sentiment. I think all the reliable info so far has came from agents/agencies. Nothing against our regular asshats who have been correct in the past, but I think Schoen has done a good job of keeping draft plans and who we like close to his vest. Even making himself harder to predict by giving top 30’s to so many QBs.
I’d be wary of any insight about who we’re drafting/who we like and if we’re trading up or down until you see it happen Thursday night.

Not only my house, but my first born, my marriage, & my signed 'GIANTS' helmet from members of the '93 team that signed it when I went to a couple of practices of training camp @ Fairleigh Dickinson that summer.

Bowen isn't on the list. At lest not what's posted in this thread.
Apologies, don’t know why I thought I saw his name.
Still, if Kafak doesn’t have insight, the assistant head coach title was legitimately just symbolic after the Wink drama and him flirting with Seattle.
“Ooops. Meant to text out top 10 to John Mara but sent it to Art Stapleton instead. Damn! Now I sent it to ESPN. Hold on…I’ll get this…”
I also find the "be careful" and "we're not paying enough attention to..." posts kind of funny. Because if we're not careful about what we read of believe to be true about the NFL draft like we don't already know the risk about what could happen to us and our families. And if we don't pay enough attention to someone...well I'm not even going to get into that one but we all know those consequences will not be good.
Like running a successful misinformation campaign.
There are really only two themes to have at the ready:
1) If QB - “Goodbye, Daniel Jones”
2) If non-QB - “Daniel’s future’s so bright I have to wear shades”
Very much so.

Orrrrrr maybe prettyricky IS Wes Steinberg! LOL
OK, Tim McDonnell as Cousin Greg made me LOL.
+1.
Schoen (Mike Corleone) and Daboll (Moe Green) need to keep him in the room but probably try to distract him with menial tasks.
