but yeah, this does make adding some bodies to the WR group more urgent. Are we sure there won’t be any legal ramifications for Rice, including potential jail time (I haven’t been following the case too closely)?

Yeah, he is in big trouble with this deal. I think an 8 game at least suspension is warranted.
