the defensive numbers with/without Julius Randle. They lack some offense without him, but the defense feels significantly better without him too. Pretty much every player they put on the floor is an absolute hound on defense

Nurse thought about calling TO but then he literally pulls back after having second thoughts. His body language said it all. It was like, "Timeou.....on second thought". Then he decides to FIRMLY call timeout but by the time it happens, the ball is already in Hart's possession.
Philly is admitting they cant handle the physicality the Knicks are playing with and want the officials to over officiate and clal more fojls but meanwhile on the other end dont call anything so they can continue to push and grab Brunson to stop him

around January and it's making the game much more fun to watch. It really feels like the league is moving away from the LeBron era where flopping drove over officiating. I'm good with the product as it's been played since this change.
There wasn't anything egregious about the officiating last night. The officials are allowing contact across the board. Philly needs to stop foul hunting and flopping and just play the game.
They made some great points. Isola pointed out when Lowry was shooting the fts up 4 you have to sub Embiid out there. It's clear he can't or won't move at all so get a guy like Paul Reed in there when you're up 2 possessions. He'll defend and rebound way better than Embiid and you can platoon and go offense/defense there. Frank backed this up comparing how Thibs took Brunson out for Deuce after DD hit the 3 to put us up. Also 2 unbiased guys wholeheartedly agreed that the officials got it right there not granting the timeout when Maxey fell down.

Yup. They kicked it into the fairway for him for years
and MSG was insane. Building was shaking after the comeback. Once you exit, 7th ave is ridiculous (and probably borderline dangerous). Saw only a small handful of Sixer fans - probably the fewest visiting fans I've ever seen at a sporting event. Couldn't even hear DD after the game when they talked to him because the crowd was still going crazy.

it's one of the first things I learned back when I used to have league pass. Other hometown announcers are basically cheerleaders and it's a really bizarre listen. Going back to Marv and Andariese and now with Breen and Clyde, we've been lucky to have guys who tell it like it is. I could do without Wally though, lol.
