Of course it will. Opinions on these top players are all over the place. Maye seems to be the one most acceptable to the masses. Guys like McCarthy and Penix have their fans and haters. I think most agree the top 3 WRs are all good, but the angst will be not getting a QB.
I think the only scenario that is realistic and least divisive is a trade to #4 to pick Maye (and then people can freak about what we gave up).
It is one thing when people say they hate the pick and wish we took another player that was available at the time.
It is entirely different when a handful of BBIers say they hate the pick and assume that the Giants had a plethora of other options from a trade perspective or they know the intentions of the entire ownership and front office group.
It's the attitude of "the Giants must doe EXACTLY this and if they don't it's because I was right all long about the front office/ownership"
