mara's biggest issue is screwing up coaching hires. if he got this one right i think everyone will be a lot happier with him as owner over the next decade compared to the last one.

and let's be honest, if any of us had the team we would be involved too!

If anything, he cares a little too much, and meddles with things he's not qualified to meddle in.
He comes across as a classy guy, and his organization reflects that.

But I just ran into Pugh in my office although I didn't get a chance to ask him anything.

He does treat the fans like valued customers. I enjoyed our conversation I have a few hand written notes from Mr Mara also they are good people.

I better analogy is a number of times you won plumber of the year (Super Bowls wins) between the floods.

it is not an exact science and there are a ton of factors. Being a good person is easy and within your control and its nice to see he is a good person to his fans and the public. The guy who owns that building is the exact opposite in terms of a person (and a pretty bad owner too).

and respectful of the fans. A very funny story- Labor Day weekend 2019, I ran into John and his wife at a function in Westchester. We had a nice conversation. Towards the end, being the eternal optimist, I said "Well, I think the Giants are on the right track." He raised his head, looking towards the heavens, and his wife rolled her eyes. I thought Uh Oh! And we know the result of that season. Whatever you think of him as an owner, he is a true fan and is as tortured as any of us by the team's lack of success.

I got some chuckles and can never get too much of those..

He's made many mistakes, but I do believe the guy wants to win and tries to put a good product on the field.

Mara had to fire 3 coaches in a row after two seasons. He got the best season in like a decade Daboll's first year before that OL under Johnson couldn't guard a light-post from getting in on the QB. He's banking Daboll is more Bono than Bozo right now. Let's hope he's right!

Bricillo may have been one of the most important hires this offseason.

Understand that the bottom line for success for someone like Mara might just be the P&L statement. I own my own business. I love it. It is littered with pressure and responsibility. What makes it worth it.
