for the first time in a long time I have no idea what the Giants are going to do.
Sure we do, all of yesterday, and most of this morning, the consensus on BBI seemed to be they were trading up for Drake Maye. Seems like most want it to be official.
As long as they love him. I just don’t want a QB because we need one. If the experts on the Giants have to have someone I’ll live with the outcome. I just don’t know how you guess at this point. Maybe we should still Andy Reid’s draft board for QBs.
And here is what I keep on thinking in regards to McCarthy.
1. Sy likes him and I appreciate what Sy sees and loved his video he did comparing Maye to McCarthy
2. If McCarthy stayed in school there is a good chance he would be QB1 in next years draft. Punting on QB this year for next years group and not knowing if you will be able to get the best QB, plus having him a year early and even having it be a red shirt season is a way better scenario IMO.
is it better to draft a pretty good QB in the first round or an excellent WR? I am still of the mind that you need to build the OL first, then pick your QB. We have not done that. I worry that Runyan and Eleumenor are just this year's Glowinski and Tyre Phillips. As a result, if we do pick a QB, he better not start this year. Let Lock and/or Jones take the beating. Build the OL before playing the QB.

That might be what the Giants want...but the latest rumors have the Pats staying at #3 and picking Maye...at that point I have no idea what the Giants will do.

At how young he looks.
He certainly has a lot of room to mature physically.
I have talked myself into being good with him - but really do not want to give up next years #1.
I will trust Schoen and Daboll to pick the right QB.
I’m hoping they can get their guy without giving up so much
I can’t recall a player ever giving that type answer
Agreed.
Which one and at what pick is another question.

That's all we know for sure.
It’s a crucial decision
