RAMS:
@DMRussini
The Rams, who haven't picked in the first round since 2016, are calling to get into the top 10, per sources.
NINERS:
@DMRussini
The 49ers have had conversations with teams, including with one picking in the top 10, about trading either of their prized wide receivers Brandon Aiyuk or Deebo Samuel in an effort to move up in the first round, per sources.
EAGLES:

DEVELOPING: The #Eagles are being one of the more “aggressive teams” in trying to trade up in the draft, per

“The Eagles are calling everyone it feels like trying to move up” says an NFL GM.
If the Niners want to trade Aiyuk to have ammo to move up for a WR, I find that brilliant. Get the cheaper, talented prospect as the replacement right now.
I'd love to have an idea who McVay and Snead like. Those are two of the smartest people in the NFL and know how to identify talent that fits what they want.

@DMRussini
The Jacksonville Jaguars are also calling around trying to move up...teams taking their calls believe they are on the hunt for a specific pass catcher, per source.

This is EXACTLY why I want no part of Aiyuk.
Crazy but 3 of my closest friends are Rams fans. The biggest fan of the 3 always says their biggest problem is that Snead falls in love with WR all the time. Although they hit on Kupp and Puca late they also took Austin in the 1st rd and Tutu in the 2nd. My friend absolutely loves Bowers. Loves him more than any other TE ever coming out of college. He says if the Rams get him he’s going to (I can’t say what he said) lmao
RE: RE: I would consider only the Rams a QB threat though
recognizing the value of an elite WR on a rookie deal, following recent and upcoming monster deals.
Exactly, it's relative value trade
EXACTLY +2!
This is exactly why I want no part of Aiyuk. Also this is why that post from yesterday and what was on twitter about 1st rd WR being the biggest busts because not many signed 2nd contracts. It’s because that 2nd contract might cost $30mil/yr. Unless you’re a game changer like a Tyreek Hill, Randy Moss, etc… your best bet is to trade him or let him walk and draft another.
You can’t be paying Chris Godwin $27mil a yr. He’s a good WR, not great. Same with Aiyuk.

I would love to trade next year’s 2nd to Arizona right now to sit at 4 and left the first 3 picks fall as they will.
I’d be prepared to take any one of the top 4 qb’s at that point and the compensation would be “pennies” at best and “reasonable” at worst.

I can't find the tweet, but apparently the Rams would NOT move up for a QB. It would be for another position.
Yea - that's been a pretty consistent report by insiders today.

"Yes, I am."
"Hold on please, while I transfer you to the New England Patriots."
Ugh, I was fearing Eagles would make a move for Mitchell.
2nd that

Dallas Turner would make sense. They lost Aaron Donald and really need an edge pass rusher.
