Doing so doesnt make you a Jones hater. Thats such a simple perspective. Precious really. Also, its tough watching the QBs come off the board with the promise it represents, but its just that-promise. Its not a guarantee. And deciding to not mortgage the future or reach at 6-which we've done before-doesnt mean Jones is absolved. They punted for a year. There are benefits contract wise, related to Jones and a prospective rookie contract. They likey would've sat a rookie either way. I understand feeling a little deflated but a lot of this crosses the line into whining.

Great receiver ALWAYS get the ball no matter who the QB is...

When he got OBJ. Great players make other players better. Slayton is no longer the #1 Wr. He can move to his natural 3 or 4. Nabers, Robinson, Hyatt & Slayton is now an NFL receiving group. Pushing everyone down to their level makes the unit better.
