No defensive players taken in the top 10, 6 QB’s in the top 12.
I’m not happy about us not getting a QB, but the Giants had no choice with what the top three teams did. And they clearly valued Nabers above the QB options left.
I thought for sure Nix and/or Penix would slide to late round 1 or even early round 2 and be trade back in possibilities. One went at 8 to the Falcons (apparently Cousins is pissed) and Nix at 12 is kind of insane.

Agreed Eric. I like the pick a lot, they did what they had to do. Any other draft one or two of these QB’s would have slid to a place where they could have traded up to get them.

When I say this wasn't a normal draft, I mean it had Caleb Williams and Marvin Harrison, Jr. in it.
No mock I saw had no defensive prospects taken until 15.
The draft is always wildly unpredictable because outsiders don’t know every team’s scouting reports or draft board.
5-12 seasons are fun !
