it feels like a lazy lsu comp but he and nabers are so comparable in style/athleticism.

Our approach to the draft in 1997. We had a meh QB and holes all over the roster after back to back 6-10 seasons.

Fassel came in and emphasized YAC and team speed, which resulted in the selection of Ike Hilliard (who many thought was a reach at 7) and the turn toward respectability in the league.

I like Nabors and the value there at 6 was excellent. Not going for a QB opens up other options for us at positions of need at CB, DL, RB, OL, and TE -in that order.

This is a good start today.

Someone should post his analysis of Daniel Jones to remember the day when folks were getting on board before the 2023 disaster struck.

The Giants drafted Amani Toomer in 1996 when they had Dave Brown coming off dreadful football.

Amani Toomer went on to play in 2 super bowls, winning one. And he did this with....wait for it, TWO different QBs and neither one was Named Dave Brown.

And they eventually found a decent QB in Collins and a great QB in Eli after that.

You keep ignoring star power skill players for darts at the QB board and that bad roster will stay bad. No one doubts the QB position needs a jolt. It will happen when it happens.
