The Giants war room was not all back-slapping and high-fiving like some of them. I guess that's what they were referring to. I'm sure we were happy that Nabers wasn't taken at 5, or maybe even 4.

I dont remember our war room ever hooting and hollaring.

I liked to see the Bears' War Room high fiving each other for landing Caleb Williams with the first overall pick. A lot of teamwork obviously went into finding a way to land the player you want with the first pick.

if the giants were willing to trade a big amount of capital for maye it was because they LOVED him. no matter how good nabers is, i'm sure that draft room was rough because they just missed out on the guy they believe was their franchise qb.

I expect the slot fade route to get broken out once or twice

Agreed. It’s like you said yesterday. It’s like the WWF/WWE. They’re turning the draft into a circus act. And people are falling for it. Now we have fans psychoanalyzing the war rooms and how they react. It’s a total clown show.

Im sure a BBI’er will find a video of the Giants war room start a conspiracy theory that someone is pissed that Nabers was the pick, Mara meddled and blocked the trade, Daboll wanted Nabers but Schoen wanted McCarthy because they saw on video that they didn’t hug, or high five, or one of them blinked when they shook hands…
