Cornerback

giantsfanforlife : 4/26/2024 10:39 pm
Day 2 was great by getting one of the best safety in Nubin (after losing Mckinney) and getting Phillips who can play inside and out (filling in needs & providing competition). There been talks that we drafted Phillips to play inside and outside & Flott will be in the mix as well.

Do you see our #2 cornerback across Banks as someone within the team or do you see the Giants sign a veteran corner before the season?

Lets see how Day 3 will be and hope for the best
I think they will go with who they have

They have options now at CB. It’s a young group and I think they’ll want to develop them.

Can’t forget this kid…..we had high hopes to start and then the dream crashed. I hope he’s learned from his mistakes and can get back into the picture. I’ve not given up on him.
I think a vet

favorite to win CB2. I also believe Flott is being moved outside if I read it correctly by Schoen. Bowen's defense needs better tackling inside than Flott is able/willing to do.

I have a feeling the Giants have given up on him; he barely played after the first couple games.

A lot of rookies struggle, if they saw something it wouldn't just disappear so quickly, it's not like he had a serious injury, his problems seemed more mental. Seems like they have enough guys now to go into camp and have a good competition to see who emerges as cb2.
