players but after watching highlights of Tyrone Tracy he reminds me of Tiki not Ahmad. He s the same size. A three down back will run off tackle but has that elusiveness and quickness to him that Tiki had. Love the pick.
All the picks look so good this time of year. We'll see what happens
when the season starts. Your comparison to Tiki makes some sense, especially considering Tracy's background as a receiver. If he's half as good as Tiki was, he'll be a big plus.
When I looked at his videos and read up on him from the so called draft experts…I believe Sy was on his bandwagon too….I became a believer too…but like Ira said….probably more of a hopeful fan that he can replace the 13 million dollar guy over in Philly.
From the clips I’ve seen, he has fantastic vision and breaks tackles but doesn’t seem to have elite top end speed. But that ok, I bet he plays above Gray.

Tracy ran a 4.4 and change at the combine. I looked up Tiki and his combine was 4.5 and change. But I use the term quick for both of them. Football speed is so much different from track speed in my opinion. It's one gauge but it's why I used the term quick for both of them.
Bradshaw was more physical than him. Barber is closer, I would even buy (please don’t kill me) Toney playing RB…
He’s a lateral quickness guy with good burst, he has good hands, he can run routes. Hopefully we can utilize him correctly.
That’s the exact thought that first came to my mind Bitey, the guy moves just like Toney in a lot of ways. Would like to see how he can be as a pass catching back, didn’t see much of that anywhere.
I've watched a ton of draft breakdowns today... from well-known national guys to the YouTube football geeks... and everyone LOVES (and I mean LOVES) Tracey.
RE: I said yesterday he reminds me of Tiki - it's the way
This guy completely looks like a thick WR playing RB. He also looks like a guy who halfway through the season everyone else is going to be like who the hell is that in the top 10 NFL rushing list? I think he could be sneaky successful. He's not blazing fast but he's got moves, some slipperiness, can run, catches really well, and doesn't look to go down easy.

Tiki has spoken about this. The day before they had him do the cybex to check his quad hamstring balance. He tried extra hard to make his hamstrings appear strong and was not feeling great for running the next day. He ran faster in other tryouts.
I am not sure why the 40 matters so much anymore. They have plenty of technology to tell how fast players run in games.

How many running backs have elite speed?
Fair question, just from what I saw he looks slower than a lot of RBs we see on Sunday. But in some YouTube clips and his line was terrible. To give a comp, he’s no Achane.
I’m still excited about the pick, don’t get me wrong.
I’d be surprised if he isn’t the second back in after Singletary when you look at his tape vs. Eric Gray. Barring a veteran pickup of course.

I'm skeptical, but who knows with the way RB's are devalued these days.

Tiki's bread-and-butter play was the cutback.

But yeah, not a lot of footspeed - but Tiki used to get caught also.
