the giants seemingly have added 3 exciting playmakers around daniel jones that excel in the intermediate to short passing game with YAC.
thats where jones needs to live.
i like Hyatt, but jones doesnt seem like the type of QB that can get hyatt/slayton the ball.
i can see a lot of two TE sets with Tracy/Nabors/Robinson in some crazy formations.
run the ball, simplify the D, and get these 3 guys who can line up X/Y/Z and even in the backfield.
Kafka/Daboll man, exciting stuff.
slayton/hyatt still there but sparingly.
I feel ya but Jones can get the ball to to Slayton/hyatt IF he is protected. The guy is gun shy with his neck injuries and others. Hopefully the many FA signings (all but 1 on the OL) will help protect and give Jones confidence to go down the field.
RE: just watched a bunch of reviews and i have to say i agree with most
steelers A+, rams A, cardinals A-, chargers A.
agree with them re jayden daniels <<<< drake maye.
giants grade seems to mostly hinge on nubin/tracy, and a lot of people seem to really like both.
I've seen a bunch of pundits rave about Phillips.
Johnson is split between those who think he's a great pick and those who say he's a decent pick (largely based on the "he tests better than he plays"...no one disliked the pick however).
Most people ignore the last pick though as you can see in this video, he stood out in the East-West Shrine Game practices/game.
Nabers? Everyone said it was a no-brainer if you pass on the QB.
Nabers adds another elite player to this roster. We had Dexter and Thomas, Okereke is close, and Banks I believe will become that. Nabers IMO gets us a desperately one at an offensive skills position.
We addressed huge secondary needs in rounds 2 and 3. We'll see what kind of players we got, but just listen to the video of Tyler Nubin getting the call from the team and tell me this kid isn't going to give 1000% blood and sweat to this team. I love seeing that.
I thought we got good value in two positions of need in round 4 and 5. That TE especially I love and feel like after the disappointment in Woller, we've transformed the TE room this offseason, in a good way.
Once you draft them, the pundits and draft grades are fun for some, but history shows they don't know what the hell they're talking about most of the time. My attitude is always --let's get them the hell in here and start seeing what we got.

I don't know why, but Xavier rubbed me the wrong way. I couldn't put my finger on it. Makes little sense because he supposedly was respected in the locker room.
However, my prediction is that Nubin becomes a fan and coach favorite for a decade here.
I totally agree. McKinney started tweeting stuff about being under appreciated after losing the green dot. You're right, he was very respected in the locker room, but just something about the guys always taking to twitter and it was clearly about the payday with him... Not that they don't all chase the money, they all do, but that's not what I'm talking about.
