My guess is they felt CB was a bigger concern. They needed CB, DT and you could throw in guard. My guess is they believe Bricillo will fix the players they have.

There are some who absolutely rave about Dru Phillips pick. Beebe fell for a reason. Looks like a great run blocker, but there are glaring weaknesses in pass protection. Really short arms even by IOL standards and watching some clips he does not do a good job when asked to pull or be on the move.

Especially OL where scheme fit really matters. I love the Dru Phillips pick he's the type of player we need.

It's like taking Darnay Holmes instead of Tyler Biadasz in 2020 when they didn't have a center, but to another level. Nothing against Holmes or Phillips, but when comparisons to the 2002 Texans flash across the screen every time you're on the clock maybe you should reconsider takin another DB
