Favorite pick: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
The Giants drafted several of “my guys” in this draft — Nabers, Andru Phillips and Tyrone Tracy Jr. But it all starts with Nabers, who would have been an easy top-five pick in most other drafts. Luckily for the Giants, they were able to nab him at No. 6, giving their offense the truly explosive threat it had been missing.
Day 3 pick who could surprise: Tyrone Tracy Jr., RB, Purdue
Devin Singletary and Eric Gray are solid players, but Tracy has an opportunity to make an immediate impact, both on offense and as a return man. The former wide receiver is at his best as a pass catcher, but as long as he has a lane, Tracy can create big plays. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention TE Theo Johnson, as well, whose value could climb if Darren Waller doesn’t return in 2024.
Very exciting runner!
I love this guy!

Sounds like a Ny Giant character
All you have to do is not draft a kicker and a punter.
Interested to see Gray as a RB in his second year

You could be on to something. His tape in college has numerous Tiki-like moments. I still think there's a place for him on this roster. He needs carries.

By making him return punts. He never recovered.

Agreed.
I think we'll be ok at RB. Tyrone will end up a steal of this draft. RB and LB were kind of afterthoughts given all the QB and OL prospects.
Houston had 9 draft picks:
two 2's
3
4
two 6's
three 7's
They had nine picks.
the only way to get past that is carries, so id imagine he and tracy will get a great number of them this preseason.
No, his analysis is based on months of film study.
the best punter in the games has a much greater impact on your team than the average 4th round pick (i.e. the average 4th round pick is a special teams player anyway and not one as important as the punter).
From Albert Breer:
2nd round OC Zach Frazier ended the season last year with a pretty ugly broken leg. That injury always scares me for linemen after seeing Nick Gates lose a lot of his power after his broken leg.
3rd round LB Payton Wilson has a multitude of injuries.
From Ian Rapoport:
Maybe it is nothing, but there are a lot of medical risks with those players.
really neat, laughs so easily. Love the Gibbs model he likes for himself--we can only wish
i really like the gibbs comparison to tracy, if memory serves it was rumored the giants were high on gibbs last year, though i do see the lesser explosiveness in the testing numbers. I read somewhere post draft that tracy gained 15 pounds last year for his move to RB, i wonder if it might be worth him slimming that down some to maybe get a little faster. in the open field his cutting style was very reminiscent of gibbs.

“Washington OT Troy Fautanu’s knee was flagged. That one was described to me as the sort of issue that shouldn’t be a problem in the short term, but could wind up impacting his longevity in the pros…”

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Wilson has a lingering left shoulder issue after “not a great operation” on it. Rapoport added that after two anterior cruciate tears that Wilson does not have an ACL left in one of his knees. .

there are medical risks but i love their draft. probably my favorite draft all things considered (they didnt have very many high picks).

Any draft that has a punter taken in the 4th round can’t be first overall.

But you need to be the best P over an extended period of time to be worth it over a UDFA P.

play a down in NFL? These evaluations are emotional, someone likes a player so they say it was a a great draft pick!

Maybe Mr. Stroud was referring to how some BBI posters rate players.
