KT89, Azeez, Aaron Robinson, Elerson Smith, Brightwell, & Rodarius Williams. Well, it's been 3 years & I'd give this draft a D+, & that might be me being kind.
Kadarius...nothing needs to be said.
Azeez: the best player in this draft class, though he's never on the field.
Aaron Robinson: Another guy who is always injured & I seemingly have to remind myself he's on the roster.
Elerson Smith: Now on LVR & I'm hard pressed to think of one play he made as a Giant. Can you?
Brightwell: Good ST player.
Rodarius Williams: No longer in the league.
Your team is going to suck.
Your team is going to suck.
Ummm, would think this is more of a reason why they should take some risks on drafting QBs more often. It's not like they are nailing it with position players.
the draft isnt easy...
also, SOMEONE was drafting toney in first round so SOMEONE was getting that bum. does it make that guy a bad GM?
I only really kill GMs if they try to be smarter than everyone and force a pick like christian ponder at 7 or jones at 6(less so because lots of reports, he was going around 10).
point is SOMEONE is taking those guys... easy to pile on in hindsight. MANY people loved the ojulari pick at 50. great value there
If Neal doesn't pull it together this season, the nightmare from that 2021 draft/deals will have reached 4 long years.

again... easy to shit on Neal and schoen for making the pick but he was a consensus top 3 OT in the entire draft. someoone was taking him top 10... some people had him top 5.
hindsight is perfect vision

The fact that DG drafted Jones at 6 and then did this makes total sense. He sucked balls as a GM.
I’m not a Schoen apologist, but looking at Nabers and the stream of phenomenal receivers LSU has turned out the past decade he was a good pick after we got boxed out of the top 3 QB’s.
It’s not like he picked Nabers between 1-3 and passed on Caleb Williams, Daniels, and Maye.

Toney was not a 1st rd player
Like Malik Willis?
Detroit getting Sewell and then St. Brown in the 4th looks great.

Um, and your point is, we should have sat there and drafted Justin Fields? Mac Jones? Great point! I'm sorry, Parsons was the right move there, not QB --and by a mile.

dogshit but you can do this legit with every team at one point or another.

Toney was not a 1st rd player
You can debate it but many will disagree.

I probably would have picked Neal too so not crapping on the decision. Just relating all back to the draft of 2021 and how nothing went well from it, even future picks we got from it.
Curse of Gettleman.

2 cent head trumps whatever football value he had. You can’t draft guys like this.
Of course this is the projection and doesn't include what teams thought about him when they brought him in for an interview.
Still remember a large number saying he'll succeed in a great situation with Reid and Mahomes. Blaming Jones, Judge, Dave, etc. for his failures.

I'll never argue with drafting a pass rusher or an offensive lineman.

Needs to look at. When you go an entire draft. One that you have a top 12 pick and don’t get ONE reliable starter yet alone a good one…
Your team is going to suck.

Yeah it isn’t often someone refutes their own point in their post.
How bad would one of those busts be if it were a QB? Exactly the same. In many cases position players bust too.
What you did was make an argument for occasionally taking a stab at a QB.
Your team is going to suck.
No. This is what happens when you have a moronic GM like Gettleman. Plain and simple.

Debate what? He’s not good, at all, and it’s been proven.
Coming into THAT draft, maybe. But now, the guy is the definition of a bust.

Dep refutes others so often, he must have gotten carried away.

For all the "Philadelphia always drafts well" take a look at their draft. They have a great first pick, sure, but everyone else is either unproven, meh or out of the league.
That draft was a disaster and Philly & Dallas added blue chip talent.

Googs - your meltdown over from the draft? You were embarrassing before the draft and during it. It’s pathetic when the owner of the site says your posting is garbage.
But it has been for years under many handles.
Parsons would have been a perfect way to fuck the cowboys for trading with the eagles. Dave sucked hard.

If only I had some Kleenex to wipe away the tears from your mean words. Haha.
Stop posting lies. Gettleman wanted Toney, multiple insiders confirmed this.
Meanwhile Giants are more or less in the same position rolling out a bad QB now in year 6. Bad drafting and failure to pivot off those bad draft picks, in this case Dan Jones at 6 overall in 2019, is how the Giants have been bad for years now
Add in taking a QB like Jones over a pass rushing playmaker like Josh Allen and it’s a few reasons that Gettleman was the worst GM .
Not hard to look up...here are 2

This George Young/Perkins/Parcells 101. The model is in the building.
The Giants to me seem rudderless with no idea what they want to be or how to get there. I hope I'm wrong. Another regime change is another 5 years of mediocre to bad teams.
